Obamacare Officials: OOPS! SO SORRY!

Tavenner

It is being reported in several MSM sources that the House Ways and Means Committee membership has grilled Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Director Marilyn Tavenner. They are demanding to be told why Americans should trust the AFCA website. They also want to know how Americans can have confidence in the entire health care law.

Chairman Dave Camp, a Michigan Republican, accused in his opening statement.“While the website can eventually be fixed, the widespread problems of Obamacare cannot, these problems can’t be fixed through a tech surge.”

Tavenner apologized. “I want to apologize to you that the website has not worked as well as it should,” she said, and promised the administration is working on the site. This healthcare.gov site is fixable," she insisted.

However, Texas Republican Kevin Brady asked Tavenner why the site had not be ready sooner. "You have had nearly four years to get it ready," Brady complained. "Why should the American people believe you now?"

 Yes - why indeed?
