Some people are speculating that perhaps the recent earthquake in California is a judgment response for refusal of a port in Oakland Ca to allow an Israeli ship to dock.
San Francisco Bay Area activists have prevented a vessel belonging to Israel’s largest shipping company from unloading in the Port of Oakland for the last four days in a row!Via The Guardian:
Workers with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 10 have honored the picket line and refused to unload the cargo from the ship.
An Israeli ship subject of a pro-Palestinian protest has docked, but demonstrations at the port of Oakland in California continue after between 2,000 and 3,000 pro-Palestinian activists streamed towards the port entrance on Saturday, chanting and waving flags. It remains unclear whether the ship’s cargo has been unloaded. In 2005 Aaron Klein speculated on the possible connection between Katrina with the associated evacuations and America's endorsement of Israel's evacuation from Gaza.
The protesters intended to form a picket line to prevent work crews from unloading the ship.
JERUSALEM – While most religious authorities seem to agree one cannot discern the intentions of God, there has been talk in some circles here and on the Internet that the storm that turned parts of the Gulf Coast into a disaster zone, prompting hundreds of thousands to evacuate their homes and possibly causing upwards of 10,000 deaths, was thrust upon the U.S. for its support of the Gaza evacuation.
There is a plethora of websites which detail the disasters relating to Israel's covenant land.“Katrina is a consequence of the destruction of [Gaza's] Gush Katif [slate of Jewish communities] with America’s urging and encouragement,” Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Lewin, executive director of the Rabbinic Congress for Peace, told WND. “The U.S. should have discouraged Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon from implementing the Gaza evacuation rather than pushing for it and pressuring Israel into concessions.”
