Behold, I have come! In the Scroll of the Book

Behold, I have come! In the Scroll of the Book

As we share the love of Yeshua in Israel, we encounter many obstacles. One of the main obstacles is religious blindness of the Messiah. In the Hebrew Scriptures, Hosea 4:6 says: "My people perish for lack of knowledge." And of course, one of the serpent's (Satan's) main tools is fear of man and implanting in Judaism that we cannot read and understand the written Word of God without rabbinic books and interpretations.

As believers in Yeshua we know and understand that the exact opposite is the truth. Everything in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation points directly to the Messiah, Yeshua.
Psalms 40:7-
'Then I said, "Behold, I have come! In the Scroll of the Book is written of me."'

In the New Covenant, Luke 24:27 says:
"And beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures."

We of Messiah of Israel Ministries were led by the Holy Spirit to share this truth in Jerusalem. We prayed for guidance from the Holy Spirit to whom to talk. As we entered the Kotel (Western Wall), Zev noticed two Orthodox Jewish men standing there. Zev walked over to them and introduced himself. One was Rabbi Zamenhof, the other was Rabbi Cletts. Zev asked them, "Why do you pray looking up toward the end of the Kotel?" They both were very happy for the question. "Because this is the most Holy Place and the presence of the Shekinah Glory is here. We look up to that Glory as we pray," said Zamenhof. Zev asked the rabbis, "Who is the Shekinah Glory?" Puzzled at the question, Rabbi Cletts said, "God." Zev replied, "Could it be the Messiah?" Both answered at the same time: "No, that's not what the rabbinic Talmud teaches." Zev with love and compassion explained the written Word of God, the Tanach (Hebrew Bible), points directly to the Messiah of Israel. Zev then read with them
Psalms 40:7 -
'Then I said, "Behold, I have come! In the Scroll of the Book is written of me."'

Zamenhof. Pray for their salvation.

Zev explained: "The Shekinah Glory is the Messiah of Israel, who was with the Israelites when they were freed from bondage. Glory to Yeshua, both rabbis were
fascinated! We stood there in the Kotel and had a Bible study. We then read
Exodus 13:21 -
"And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night."

The Scroll of the Book (Word of God) shows us that the Shekinah Glory is with us if we receive the Messiah into our hearts by faith. Rabbi Cletts asked: "But no one knows who the Messiah is." Zev explained the Lord is asking us, He is seeking our heart. We opened the Bible to
Proverbs 30:4 -
"Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and the name of His Son?"

Zev said to them: "Tell me if you know! You see God is asking you that same question. The same Shekinah Glory that you both are so desperately searching for can be yours forever, just seek and you will find at that moment,"

The two rabbis were almost speechless. That wonderful Shekinah Glory was everywhere. It was so beautiful! Zev blessed them and gave them his contact information. Please pray for these two rabbis' salvation in the name of Yeshua.

We continued to share the Scroll of the Book, the written Word of God, with IDF soldiers and many Orthodox Jews.

Please join us in prayer for all who heard this wonderful message of love, hope, and salvation available only through the Messiah Yeshua. Amen!
