DO NOT LET PAST FAILURES DESTROY YOUR FUTURE

by Rev. Joda Collins.

This is a political article based on a biblical principle.

We should learn from our past mistakes rather than repeat past mistakes. Do not let the mistakes of your past rob you of your future success. That would be foolish.

"... this one thing I do: forgetting what things lie behind and straining for what lies ahead, I keep pursuing the goal....Those of us who are mature (wise) should embrace this point of view."  Philippians 3:13-15.  ISV and NET Bible.  (Parenthesis mine.)

Mature (wise) people learn from their past, do not repeat past failures but use past failures to better-guarantee future success. It is easy to identify wise people. They identify and repent of mistakes of the past with a heart not to make those same mistakes again. Unwise (immature) people do not repent of their past failures/wrongs and that allows their past failures to define their future.  Immature (unwise) people will repeat their past mistakes because they lack wisdom.   It is easy to identify immature people. They justify their unwise (bad) decisions of the past.  Wise people learn from their mistakes. Unwise people do not.

The best of us make mistakes. However, there are evil people who do wrong because they choose (prefer) to do evil.

I have never seen a presidential election with so much contrast between candidates.

Donald Trump has made some mistakes in his past.

He is learning from those mistakes and is using those mistakes to be a better person. That means he is both mature and wise.  Donald Trump is pressing forward doing better.  His past failures are unlikely to define his future or haunt America if he becomes President.

Hillary Clinton is evil. She will continue to be evil. Her past evil does define her future. America can expect more of the same from her.  She is a repeat offender and her repeated evils will harm and haunt every American home. That is the first major difference between these candidates. Donald Trump presses forward with improvement while Hillary Clinton is devoted to repeating her past sins while lying, justifying and blaming others.

Hillary's past wrongs include several acts of treason, the formation of a crime syndicate and money laundering enterprise, becoming a millionaire by selling America's interests, and a truck load of dead bodies behind her. Trump said some bad words.

It is foolish to elect Hillary Clinton knowing that her past failures will define America's future.  It is unwise to let our past failures define our future. It is downright foolish to let someone else's past failures define our future.

Look to the future that each candidate promises for America.

Donald Trump promises closed borders so terrorists cannot walk into our country.  That makes America safer.  Hillary Clinton promises open borders so terrorist can walk into our country. That makes America less safe.

Donald Trump wants legal immigration. Hillary Clinton wants illegal immigration.  Donald Trump wants immigrants to acclimate to our customs and our laws.  Hillary wants us to acclimate to the immigrants way of life and their laws. Clinton is for the Islamization of America.   Trump is against the Islamization of America.

Hillary Clinton wants to kill babies as they exit the womb.   Donald Trump does not want to kill babies.

Donald Trump wants to limit the number of terms a Congress member can serve  in order to limit corruption. Hillary Clinton is positive towards unlimited terms for Congress members because serving unlimited terms foster's corruption.

Hillary is for socialism which is an economic system that has never produced a sustainable vibrant economy. Donald is for capitalism, an economic system that has produced a sustainable vibrant economy.

Hillary wants to take away your guns so only criminals, the US government and the UN are armed among us.  Donald wants you to keep your guns so you can protect yourself, your family, your property and your country.

Donald Trump wants America to remain as a sovereign nation. Hillary Clinton wants America to join the New World Order/one-world government and give up our sovereignty to the United Nations.

Donald Trump wants to have a good diplomatic relationship with Russia. Hillary Clinton taunts Russia towards war.

Trump is anti-ISIS.  Clinton is pro-ISIS -- "the Mother of ISIS."

Donald Trump wants a Supreme Court that upholds the Constitution of the United States. Hillary Clinton wants a Supreme Court that will destroy (make null and void) the Constitution of the United States.

Donald Trump wants to restore the military to a place of power and respect.  Hillary Clinton wants to continue Obama's policy of reducing our military strength and attacking the morale of our military members.

Hillary Clinton wants to increase taxes. Donald Trump wants to reduce taxes.  Hillary Clinton is for big government -- increasing taxes and spending more. Donald Trump is for small government and government fiscal accountability.  Hillary is for federal law overriding States rights.  Donald is for protecting the rights of States against encroaching federal regulations.

All we need to know about the past is that Donald Trump is learning from and not repeating his past mistakes and this is to our good; Hillary Clinton is committed to repeating her past and that is to America's detriment.

Each candidate has told us clearly what each wants for our future.  Vote for the candidate that reflects the kind of future you want for your children and grandchildren.  Forget the past and concentrate on the future.  That is what wise, mature people do.

"... this one thing I do: forgetting what things lie behind and straining for what lies ahead, I keep pursuing the goal....Those of us who are mature (wise) should embrace this point of view."  Philippians 3:13-15.  ISV and NET Bible.

It was said during Obama's terms that the problem is less that Obama in office and more that there is an electorate stupid enough to vote for him.  The choice between Trump and Hillary is much clearer.  We know ten times more about Hillary than the voting public had ever known about Obama before his two elections.  Nearly everything we know about Hillary is bad news for America.  What is not bad news (if any) is minor and of no consequence compared to the damage she is promising for America and Americans.   If Hillary is elected, knowing all we know about her, then the voting public really is amazingly stupid.  Only the most stupid of the most stupid vote for self-destruction.  We shall see.
