Former auto czar Steven Rattner (also known as “Ratty”) has penned a piece in the New York Times that once again shows scoreboard for the healthcare legislation’s detractors. As the pensions fraud racketeer opined:WE need death panels. Well, maybe not death panels, exactly, but unless we start allocating health care resources more prudently — rationing, by its proper name — the exploding cost of Medicare will swamp the federal budget.
Oh, you don’t say? Well, the potential Rationer-in-Chief has already gutted Medicare by $716 billion to fund the medical program. Obamacare is already three times cost estimates, despite the president stating in 2009 that if legislation was not passed to cut medical costs, the federal government would “go bankrupt.”
Triple cost estimates is quite a bit off for a supposed cost-cutting programs; especially given the abysmal record of past welfare state programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicare Part D. That’s kind of like pledging to cut the deficit in half while actually tripling it. Only six-fold off on both counts for the smartest president in American history. Math is obviously not the man’s strong suit.
A patient needs a doctor who truly listens to his or her patients, because a doctor who actually listens to the questions promotes an environment in which you feel capable of discussing the questions and concerns plaguing you.http://www.md247.com
