Obama marks Rosa Parks anniversary with picture of himself

White House marks 57th anniversary of Rosa Parks with picture of Obama
On Saturday, the White House marked the 57th anniversary of the day Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat by tweeting a picture of Barack Obama sitting in the bus where Parks stood her ground.
"Today is the 57th Anniversary of the day Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat," the White House tweeted.
The picture was taken during a fundraising trip in April at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, where the bus currently sits.
At the time the photo was taken, White House press corps photographers were kept on the sidelines, ABC News reported.
“I just sat in there for a moment and pondered the courage and tenacity that is part of our very recent history but is also part of that long line of folks who sometimes are nameless, oftentimes didn’t make the history books, but who constantly insisted on their dignity, their share of the American dream,” Obama told donors later that day.
"Just when you think President Obama’s impossibly large ego can’t grow further, he makes it happen," the staff at Twitchy said.
