Liberals in America all in a 'tizzy' this week as the Supreme Court hears two cases that have the potential to transform American society and the status of gays and lesbians in it.
Both cases could change the everyday lives of gay people and transform the larger, decades old gay rights movement, which has pursued both a court-based and political strategy to gain more legal protections for gay people. But the California Prop 8 case in particular, called Perry v. Hollingsworth, is considered by both pro and anti-gay marriage camps to be the most important, and potentially sweeping, of the two. But even though Conservatives and Christians are commanded by decency and common sense to oppose such measures we ought not be surprised by it. After all, Jesus Himself prophesied it as an end-time dynamic.
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.It appears Jesus was pointing to an indiscriminate matrimonial activity. In other words, there was no regard for God. People were just doing their thing, eating, drinking, marrying whomever (or whatever) they wanted.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Then the end came.
We know this was not a godly manifestation of the marriage covenant because the event from Genesis tell us as much.
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.Jesus pointed to marriage as something to look for as a sign of the times as they were immediately before the flood. People's actions were 'only evil' and Jesus included marriage in this.
Genesis 6:5
It is also clear from scripture that same-sex marriage is an abomination, evil, and unacceptable. The reasons are varied - from the obvious health ramifications to the violation of the original covenant template. The list goes on and on.
So fear not! Even though we are called to do 'exploits' in the last days we should not be surprised when evil is the primary activity in the world. Maranatha friends! The LORD is coming!

ReplyDeleteYou can read into this as being a gay marriage thing or you can read into this as one of the things they were doing was marring their animals but of course people jump on the gay thing also please don't forget that at the time before the flood besides marring their animals they worshiped strange gods, forced sexual gratification with both men and women killed and on and on so before you judge others judge yourself. Also one more thing I wish to point out. When Lot was visited by angels and the city was wanting to know (screw) the angels and lot said if there was 100,50,20,10 good men would GOD not destroy the city and there was no good to be found. Why? Because they were forcing their desires on others not freely engaged in consensual relations. NOT because they were homosexual but because they had no regards for anyone or anything but their self, Kind of like it is in these times where there is much hate, lack of worshipping GOD and greed.

guys ! why do you insist on using the word gay? homosexual is not Gay. Gay is a perfectly good word that means happy etc. Why pervert a perfectly good word to discribe something god detests.

Homosexuality is discussed about in Scripture in the same negative light in both the Old & New Testament. It has nothing to do with evolution whatsoever. It goes against the very nature that God created us for and put in us. How is giving in to the lusts of the flesh ever beneficial and not an act of pride on our part?
I pray that you will read the Bible for what it says and spend time in prayer asking God to reveal to you what He is saying and who He truly is. Always treat the very Word of God as the ultimate authority and stay away from any teacher, pastor, etc that claims a feel good gospel and that everyone from Moses to Paul had it all wrong. There is a reason that God made it survive through all this time.

Jesus never mentioned homosexuality? Nonsense. He never mentioned beastiality either. He never mentioned sex with lamp-posts either. Did he HAVE to mention EVERY sexually impure activity? Jesus DID mention GODLY marriage!!! Everything else is UNACCEPTABLE!

Jesus clearly said taht marriage was intended to be among a man and a woman, and Paul, Jesus's apostle, openly spoke against homosexuality. However, the passage in Matthew has no relevance to homosexuality. You are reading into it and if it's done on purpose, this is a sin. It's just saying that before God's final wrath comes, people would still be doing what they always do (obviously not even caring about the fact that the end signs are actually being fulfilled right besides them).

Rafael, like-sexes lusting after one another and exchanging the Genesis natural order God created between a man and a woman for homosexuality is WRONG! Quit trying to promote your perverted "gay gospel here." By the way, sometimes reproaches have to be a little more stern to cut through the touchy feely "false goodness" political correctness people try to use to undermine Scripture. You are my neighbor whom I hope to see in heaven, but you're not going to be able to bring your argument before the throne of God and gain admission into heaven... It's Jesus' way or no way (not the gospel according to Rafael).
