PPSIMMONS RADIO! Guest offers 10 Reasons to believe the Abomination of Desolation happened Mar 22/2013 - Must-hear Audio!

This is a fascinating interchange between Mike Shoesmith of PPSIMMONS and Steve Fletcher of the "A Trumpet for my People" blog. You can see Steve's material at the following website...

PPSIMMONS is not naming names or setting dates. We are simply reporting the facts... and just the facts.

  1. I would suggest you open up the Trumpet Blog link (http://2fletchdr222.blogspot.mx/) so you can follow along with my line of thinking as we talk about each point.

  2. On the one hand it seems like this man may have a genuine love for the Lord, however, he seems to engage in quite a bit of eisigesis in his interpretation. Plus, he is clearly taking verses out of their context. I looked at his blog and even though it says he has been a user there since 2010, his blog only goes back to Dec. of last year with an entry he has clearly updated recently because it speaks about this March 22 event. I found that to be suspicious. Did he scrub 2 years worth of blog entries and then update the one he left, or did he start a blog in 2010 and publish nothing on it until last December…and then recently go back to update it. See what I am saying? On top of that, he actually begins his December entry with…THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD. Really? That is an incredibly bold claim to make. You better be really sure of the information you are putting out there if you make a claim like that. I am concerned for this man. Look, I can’t wait for the return of the Lord, but we shouldn’t let our feelings guide or interpretation of scripture. I am curious how this man will react if/when it becomes clear that the great tribulation hasn’t started. Will he change his timeline of events or will he humbly repent and apologize to anyone who may have read his blog and have been led astray. I would hope it’s the latter and I would hope it is capitol letters right on his blog. And if he is right…great! May the Lord come soon!

    1. Steve specifically said that it all must line up with scripture. Making the eisegesis (not eisigesis) claim is a straw man and a terrible accusation.

    2. First, I am sorry that we disagree on whether or not it is a horrible accusation. I understand I am taking the more unpopular side of the issue in this venue. I care about the word of God and truth. I also take to heart that Jesus has aid to take heed that no man deceives me. Steve can say that it all must line up with scripture, as well he should, but the question is…does it? I would have to say no, it doesn’t seem to. We can go through all the scriptures if you want, but I think it just as valid to examine Steve’s testimony. In his THE SIGN OF HIS COMING REVEALED blog post he describes how he and twenty or so others witnessed the Sign of the Lord’s Coming. He writes, “Twenty of us all saw it because we knew exactly when it would appear. We can all testify to it. THE SIGN OF HIS COMING.” (Did they happen to get it on camera?) Now, the Bible states in Matthew 24:29-31, “29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” So this sign clearly comes after the Abomination of Desolation spoken of early in verse 15 and definitley comes after the sun being darkened and all that. I am not sure how it could be any clearer. It is quite different than what he described to have witnessed. Plus, it describes it as this really massive event…not a private affair to be viewed by 20 or so individuals in the Yucatan. I really don’t think I am out of place on this. My original concluding question remains. Will Steve repent if or when it becomes obvious that he has deceived himself and others? Yes, it is a strong assertion and I feel quite strongly about it. And yes, I could be wrong. I could have misread his blog or failed to understand something…I mean c’mon…I can’t even spell eisegesis right! But if he is wrong…while claiming to speak so directly for the Lord…he needs to seriously repent. As does anyone who is promoting his message. Would you not agree?

    4. I am sharing my findings... each needs to pray as to what they want to do with it, or nothing at all! As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, living each day as though Christ were coming tonight! Blessings!

  3. There is no biblical proof of Pre-Trib or Mid-Trib rapture/ascension/gathering. Since Paul says in Corinthians that it is "at the Last Trump". Therefore it is not imminent.

  5. I have deleted all other documents on my blog because these two are specifically what the Lord has revealed to me. The SIGN OF HIS COMING REVEALED and the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION FULFILLED. These are the only two documents that EVERYONE needs to see NOW. That is why these are the only ones seen.

Please see both documents on my blog http://2fletchdr222.blogspot.mx/

    1. If you read the Bible literally you are in BIG trouble... unless you believe God is a literal rock!

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
      Deuteronomy 32:4

    2. There was an abomination on March 22, 2013. Obama stood in the most Holy place (in Bethleham)and did not bow on his knee and pray. He is the first one to NOT bow on knee in the Holy place. You cannot even see it without bowing because the entry is so low. That in itself IS an abomination to the Lord. Total disrespect especially since you see Obama bowing to every other King, and partaking in all other ceremonies, yet he could not bow before the Lord in Jesus birthplace (Holiest of Holy's).

    3. Mike in my opinion the bible should be taken literally when spoken literally and should be taken allegorically when spoken allegorically. Nobody would interpret Duet. 32:4 as God being a literal rock, just like nobody would think that Jesus is a literal Lamb. The abomination of desolation is meant to be a warning to those living in Judea (mostly Jews) to flee. I don't think that most Jews would recognize some abscure warning, but they would recognize the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet (Hanukkah). Anyways, that is my two cents worth! God bless!

  7. If Israel ever starts doing animal sacrifices again, we can say bye to Israel because God will destroy her. God devistated Israel in 70 AD because they were doing animal sacrifices bringing Christ to an open shame. The theory in this video is that Obama is the Anti-Christ. That would make Israel the Great whore of Revelation 17 and America the beast she is riding upon. My study has revealed to me that Israel was the whore of Revelation 17. Rome was the beast Israel was riding upon and the fullfillment was first century. The Bible does not talk about a single Anti-Christ, but many anti-christs. So, I am not convinced by this video.

  8. Steve is ignoring many things that are supposed to line up with 'the abomination of desolation'. The whole of the twelve tribes of Israel will be in the Land when the Abomination of Desolation stands in the Holy Place! And their eyes will be opened to the fact of the First coming of Yahshua. The 7 year treaty will be broken at this time, too [half way into 7 years]. And when Israelis realize this [what they did to HIM], then they mourn for Yahshua and flee to safety out of Judea. Has all that happened?? BHO is just a wannabe Anti Christ and you people are feeding fodder to that by saying things not based on strong scriptural facts!!!

  9. Another thing that I may point out is whether it is proved beyond doubt that the place mention is the real site! I think these places were arbitarily named by, for example, Constantine's mother! There is not much stock in its claim to be Holy Place! For Christ the Holy of Holies will still be where His Father has marked out [in the Temple, whenever that is built again, or the same site]

    1. Jesus specifically mentioned Daniel in Matt 24:15, so the abomination has to line up to Daniel... and that was all based on timelines and dates. My thought is that none of this is obvious and we all have different versions or ideas, and this is such an important revelation and urgency that god wanted no mistakes... so it is all based on Math! The people are the temple now, so if Israel accepted the Antichrist it could be said the abomination was set up. There seems to be tto much proof in the numbers to deny this. To me its a lock. http://2fletchdr222.blogspot.mx/2013/03/the-abomination-of-desolation-fulfilled.html

  10. The focal point is 1947 and especially 1948 when Israel became a nation. I too asked in prayer for some understanding to Daniel's 70 week prophecy, 1948 came to me.
