REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS: TOO FAR APART TO WORK TOGETHER

I have tried to write an article using Luke 16:1-8 for more than a year but have not had the Holy Spirit freedom to do so until now.  Now, I understand why.

Luke 16:1-8 is a story of a man in charge of managing a rich man's business interests.  The rich man discovered the manager was guilty of "wasting his goods".  That could mean something like misappropriation of funds.  The rich man told the manager that he was going to be fired very soon and to get his final reports in order. The manager, using his last few hours or days in office, went to the rich man's creditors and offered each a sizable discount (20% to 50%) to clear each account (paid in full).  The purpose of the discount was so the manager could make some friends to mooch off of when he became unemployed.

When the rich man found out what the manager did, he complimented the manager for his shrewdness and made the comment that the wicked are more cleaver than the righteous.

This is true.  The righteous are not very talented at being dishonest, cunning or at outwitting the enemy using underhanded methods.   Righteous people do not think in those terms. They are quite ignorant about such things.  That is not so with the evil. The evil are very practiced at dishonesty, misrepresentations, misappropriation of funds, wasting other people's time, goods and money as well as doing other despicable things.

So when there is a conflict between the righteous and the wicked, the wicked are better-trained at lying and taking advantage of others, especially the gullible Christian.  Who among us (Christians) has not been taken advantage of by a lost person (or carnal Christian) and found ourselves at deep, deep loss because we did not handle their evil against us wisely?

Beginning January 3, 2015 we will have a majority of righteous (moral) people in the US Senate who will take the place of today's wicked majority.  Shortly after the November elections Obama made fake conciliatory gestures to Republicans in Congress (House and Senate) and towards incoming Senate Republicans. Americans found his gestures comical.  He saw, heard and read the laughter of all of America.  He is now exposed as a pathological liar, therefore his lies are not convincing.  So, he quickly announced he did not need Congress to change Immigration laws.  Everyone stopped laughing.

Now, House and Senate Republicans are scrambling to figure out how to stop Obama from making five million illegals plus their family members into automatic US citizens with the stroke of his pen.  Congressional Republicans know that if they do not do something, then their first test of following the November election mandate of stopping Obama will be a failure.  That failure will have definite negative consequences on incoming Republicans in 2015 as well as the Presidential race in 2016.
House Republicans are now under extreme pressure to do what they should have done years ago which is to begin impeachment proceedings against Obama.  That is the only way to deflect the public anger of Republicans from Congressional Republicans.

It may be that Republicans are still trying to find a way to compromise with Democrats.  That is a bad mistake.

Light cannot compromise with darkness.  Good cannot compromise with evil and remain good.  Wrong is not made right by mixing right with wrong and right becomes wrong when combining the two.

I address the Republicans in office today and the Republicans taking Congressional office in January with the wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ as found in Second Corinthians 6:14, 15 and 17 as penned by the Apostle Paul:

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?    What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?....So, come out from among [unbelievers], and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor…."  Amplified Version.

I have never seen a donkey and an elephant yoked together.

Jesus said, to be wise as a snake (Matthew 10:16).  The Republicans in Congress better be. They are working with a lot of snakes-in-the-grass. The are called "Democrats".  Trust them at the peril of the United States of America.  There is nothing good about them, because there is nothing good in them.  It is foolish to expect good fruit from bad trees (Matthew 7:18).  Do not be foolish.  Compromise to them means YOU compromise the truth, your principles and the welfare of the USA.  We did not elect you to compromise with those who want to destroy America. We elected you to save America.  So, do it!   It is not hard.  Just say "no" to the compromises offered to you by snakes or we all experience the deadly venom.   Since everything Democrats do is anti-American, just say "no".   Work over, under and around Democrats because you cannot work with them.

House Republicans should do the right thing for America.   Start impeachment proceedings.  We still have two more years of Obama dictatorship.  It will only get worse if  you do not act. How do I know that?  It has gotten worse because you have not acted.  Democrats cannot be trusted, so do not compromise with them.
