Has the False Prophet Solidified His Role with the Man of Sin?

By Mike Shoesmith

2015 looks like the year he's [Pope Francis that is] going to blow it all by casting his lot with the morally bankrupt, scientifically illiterate, world-poverty-inducing cause of environmentalism when he issues a papal encyclical on the subject of "global warming" – apparently with a view to influencing the next round of UN climate talks in Paris in September.

Of course, the Pope's views on climate change will only be as good as the "expert" advice he gets. And unfortunately, on this score, the auguries do not bode well – as we learn by studying the list of delegates at a workshop staged by the Vatican in May 2014 with the grisly theme "Sustainable Humanity Sustainable Nature Our Responsibility." (H/T Bishop Hill)

The event was a veritable Who's Who of Climate Stupid.

They're all rabid leftists. More from Breitbart:

Among the people who weren't invited to this festival of climate alarmism was one of the Pope's own cardinals George Pell, former Archbishop of Sydney. But perhaps that's because, unlike so many of his co-religionists – such as the lamentable Cafod, the Catholic development agency – he has yet to embrace the fashionable cause of Gaia-worship. On the contrary, Cardinal Pell believes that a doubling of CO2 would be good for the planet because "plants would love it" and once said:

"Radical environmentalists are more than up to the task of moralising their own agenda and imposing it on people through fear. They don't need church leaders to help them with this, although it is a very effective way of further muting Christian witness.

"Church leaders in particular should be allergic to nonsense….. I am certainly sceptical about extravagant claims of impending man-made climatic catastrophes. Uncertainties on climate change abound … my task as a Christian leader is to engage with reality, to contribute to debate on important issues, to open people's minds, and to point out when the emperor is wearing few or no clothes."

How wonderful it would be if this erudite, informed, scientifically literate scholar were able to have a quiet word in the Pope's ear before it's too late.

Pope Francis will apparently meet with other faith leaders to lobby government officials at the UN general assembly meeting in New York in September at which countries will be announcing new anti-poverty and environmental goals. The Pope has been regularly connecting the two, saying things like "An economic system centered on the god of money needs to plunder nature to sustain the frenetic rhythm of consumption that is inherent to it" and "The monopolizing of lands, deforestation, the appropriation of water, inadequate agro-toxics are some of the evils that tear man from the land of his birth. Climate change, the loss of biodiversity and deforestation are already showing their devastating effects in the great cataclysms we witness."

Neil Thorns, head of advocacy at Cafod, expressed support for the Pope's moves, telling The Guardian, "The anticipation around Pope Francis's forthcoming encyclical is unprecedented. We have seen thousands of our supporters commit to making sure their MPs [members of Parliament] know climate change is affecting the poorest communities."

Supporting the science refuting the global alarmist agenda, climate depot is reporting:

Steven Goddard is reporting on the death of the final global warming scam. Using charts and graphs Goddard shows how the area of Arctic sea ice is nearly identical to 30 years ago. [see here]

Interestingly the Daily Mail is also reporting that Carbon dioxide emissions help tropical rain forests grow faster: Study shows trees absorb more greenhouse gas than expected.

Tropical forests are growing faster than scientists thought due to rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
A Nasa-led study has found that tropical forests are absorbing 1.5 billion tons of carbon dioxide every year as they photosynthesise and grow.

And this is far more than is absorbed by the vast areas of boreal forest that encircle the Arctic.

Dr David Schimel, a researcher at Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, who led the study, said: 'This is good news, because uptake in boreal forests is already slowing, while tropical forests may continue to take up carbon for many years.'

In total, they estimate that forests and other vegetation absorb around 2.7 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide, about 30 per cent of that emitted by humans.

As emissions add more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, forests worldwide are using it to grow faster.
However, the rate at which they absorb this has been hard to estimate with many studies producing contradictory results.

As many rain forests consist of mature trees that are often hundreds of years old, they were not thought to absorb much carbon dioxide.

Young fast growing trees tend to absorb more carbon dioxide as they use the carbon as they grow.

Undoubtedly our readers have already picked up on the secondary benefit to the scientific discovery: the altruism of tree farming! The Avatar-type Gaia worshipers literally chain themselves to the old trees perhaps not realizing they are hurting "mother earth" by preventing the harvest of that wood thereby allowing young trees to sprout up and absorb carbon dioxide at a much greater rate.

The Pope has an ally in all this global wealth redistribution. And let's face it, that's what we have left when we strip the cause of it's B.S. (bad science).

President Obama increasingly is finding a key policy ally in the Vatican, with Pope Francis standing virtually shoulder to shoulder with the White House on income inequality and a historic diplomatic reboot with communist Cuba. The pontiff next year also appears poised to offer greater support to the president on climate change initiatives and reportedly wants to be a leading voice at a U.N. global warming summit next year, where the American president will make perhaps his greatest pitch to date for more dramatic action on the environment.

For Mr. Obama and fellow Democrats, aligning with Francis offers clear benefits in the short term, as they are able to highlight agreement on controversial issues with one of the most respected figures on the planet.

The Bible speaks of many "antichrists" which shall come into the world Just as it speaks of many "false prophets." But the Bible also says that a singular "Antichrist" figure will come just as it says that a singular "False Prophet" will arise.

¶Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1 John 2:18

Notice the mention of a single antichrist figure which "shall come," a prophetic indication of a future person, along with mention of the many antichrists which existed at that time. There appear to be multiple manifestations of "antichrist": the spirit of antichrist (1Jn4:3), and "an" antichrist (2Jn1:7) along with the single "antichrist" figure which "shall come."

This is where we get the phrase "The Antichrist" when we look at leaders throughout history as a possible candidate for this endtime, last days person who will usher in desolation, abominations, and blasphemies.

Has Barack Hussein Obama done any of this? PPSIMMONS has documented a voluminous mountain of evidence that he is definitely the most qualified candidate of our time.

And even though there have been too many "false prophets" to count throughout history (1Jn4:1), the Bible makes it also clear that a single "False Prophet" will arise. He makes his appearance during the wrath of God event in Rev 16.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Revelation 16:13

The seeming implication here is that the false prophet is in collaboration with two other entities which appear after the Rev 11 rapture of the church. Following the catching up of the Saints a one-world government takes shape (Rev 13). The beast is made up of the Lion Bear and Leopard (Britain, Russian, and Germany) which is empowered by the Dragon (China).

Revelation 13:2  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And what becomes of this "false prophet?"

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:10

So then. This "abomination" antichrist will rise and fall. He may even be part of the leadership of the One World Government which will arise following the Rev 11 catching up. The "False Prophet" will also arise and be a spiritual "guide" for the world. As we read to the end of the book we see who wins.

Which side are you on?

Revelation 22:1  ¶And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6  ¶And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
