NASA Posts Possible PROOF That Mars Rover "Curiosity" NEVER LEFT EARTH?

PNN HAS DEBUNKED THE NOTION THAT THE PHOTO WAS THAT OF A "HUMAN"

See the video below...

PNN - We were one of the very first to DEBUNK the NASA Mars Rover "workman" photo! Watch this video and see the photos at the very bottom of this page.

Curiosity Rover

ORIGINAL STORY IS BELOW
(NOW DEBUNKED!)

Original (edited) story:
PNN - January 25, 2015

IS IT SIMPLY A "SHADOW DUCK?"

IS IT "Pareidolia?"
(The case of the human brain seeing what it "wants" to see - seeing patterns in random data)

NOTE: PNN is making no claim that the Mars Rover mission is "fake." We are simply examining the odd photo that NASA posted on their own website and examining the claims about the photo that are being made all over the internet. You can decide for yourself. If you discover other genuine photos that might help us get different angles showing how a shadow-casting situation might cast this particular shadow - please send them to us at ppsimmons@live.com.

The internet and conspiracy theory websites are all a buzz over an image (below) posted to NASA's website which appears to show a person working on the Curiosity Rover which NASA supposedly sent to the red planet. And what's most curious about this is there aren't supposed to be any people up there.

Some conspiracy theorists are speculating that this is proof of an off-world base for the Pentagon’s “Non-Terrestrial Officers.” Others believe this is proof for the existence of extra-terrestrials.

Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, said: "This underlines the fact that such things literally lurk in the shadows and play with our imagination."1.

But upon further examination of the image (we've taken a screen shot in case they decide to scrub it) it appears to many people, especially on many conspiracy websites,  that a more obvious possible conclusion could be made. Curiosity never left earth! (See PNN's disclaimer NOTE above)

Firstly, what some people are claiming is an oxygen supply tank on the person's back could easily be a back pack. The reason they say "could easily be" is because of the other very noticeable aspect of the image - the outline of what appears to be hair. Others have noted the jug-like image the "arm" and "hand" appears to be handling. "What normal attachment on the Rover looks like this and would cast a shadow like this?" they are asking. What in the world (or on Mars) would produce a hair-like shadow image so clearly defined as in this picture? Odd - to say the least.

The above photo is a picture of two engineers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory providing a size comparison of three generations of Mars Rovers.  The below photo is a similar one. These will give some perspective also - as to the size of a human compared to the attachments on the Rover. Could it be that the anomaly photo was one taken at the lab and mistakenly placed on NASA's website as one from Mars?  Some conspiracy sites have been saying that is a possible explanation for the odd photo.

Below are photos of the Rover. Do you see anything that might possibly cast a shadow looking like a human being (just the right size perspective) with hair and an outstretched arm? Some are commenting that the anomaly is nothing more than a robotic arm with the sun appearing at just the right angle to fool the mind. ( SEE OUR DEBUNK VIDEO AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE - that is exactly what this appears to be after all!)

Man holding a "jug" next to Mars Rover  - or simply a "shadow duck?"

Here is another picture of the ROVER at about the same shadow angle. This picture is minus a "service technician."  :-)

MORE SHADOW PICTURES!

ALSO - see this Google IMAGE page of more Rover Shadow Photos. Again...nothing even comes close to the NASA picture we are featuring. Very strange indeed!

1. The U.K.'s Daily Mail is also reporting this strange anomaly photograph...

OTHER PICTURES THAT MIGHT
HELP EXPLAIN THE ANOMALY

The group of four photos was sent to us by YouTube user:
Robert McPhalen

More than likely the "anomaly" can be explained by this picture - also on NASA's site. It appears to be a robotic "arm" and the various attachments  - with the sun hitting at just the right angle to present the "workman" image to the mind of the viewer.

  1. NASA was created by nazis to lie to the world in preparation for that "great day of deception."

  2. Very interesting indeed. Not sure what to think yet...but I really can't explain the "hair" shadows. Can't think of anything that would do that which is attached to the Rover. Hmmm. Okay - you got me thinking.

  4. Um. I suppose YOU would be the moron. We are simply reporting what is all over the web. Did you read the article? Did you read the disclaimer? Did you see our analysis? You say there are multiple shadow pictures like this? Did you see that we ASKED for such pictures so we could post them? Please send to ppsimmons@live.com.

Now..."who" is the moron? :-) Blessings any way.
