Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon/satan was wroth with the woman, and went to make WAR with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Americanized Christianity has largely taught that if we are truly loving and share God's word correctly, we will get a good response from people instead of controversy, negative feedback and personal attacks.
But what does SCRIPTURE say about negative responses, persecution and rejection for sharing God's word?
Matt. 5:11, Jesus said, "Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake."
John 15:20, Jesus said, "Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also."
2 Tim. 3:12, "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,"
1 Peter 2:21, "For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:"
What if the things I say are true, holy and sound, will I still be OPPOSED?
Titus 2:8, Use "...soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who OPPOSE you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us."
BEWARE OF MESSAGES THAT TEACH YOU THAT PROPERLY SHARING TRUTH MEANS NOT BEING REJECTED, AS IF REJECTION MEANS YOU FAILED
Galatians 6:12, "As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ."
Luke 6:222, "Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake."
BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE SENT TO SHARE JESUS' WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE AND PROPHECY BY WRITING THEM - HOW WILL THESE TRUE MINISTERS OF JESUS BE RECEIVED BY THE BRETHREN AND THE SECULAR SOCIETY?
Matt. 23:34, JESUS said, "Wherefore, behold, I SEND TO YOU prophets, and wise men, and scribes (writers):
and some of them you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and PERSECUTE them from city to city:"
1 Peter 3:14, "But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do NOT fear their threats; do not be frightened."
Luke 12:11-12, "And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto rulers, and powers, take no thought how or what thing you shall answer, or what you shall say: For the Holy Spirit shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say."
1 Thess. 2:14, "For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God's churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from YOUR OWN PEOPLE the same things those churches suffered from the Jews"
Galatians 4:29, "But AS THEN he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so IT IS NOW."
Luke 6:23, "Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets."
Like Jesus/Yahshua, Paul was also falsely accused by religious leaders and sent to prison for declaring the word of the Lord. This is what he wrote to followers of Jesus;
2 Tim. 2:9, "This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's WORD is not chained."
2 Tim. 1:8, "So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in SUFFERING FOR THE GOSPEL, by the power of God."
Philippians 1:29-30, "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Having the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me."
2 Tim 2:3, "Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus."
2 Cor. 1:5-7, "For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as you are PARTAKERS OF THE SUFFERINGS, so shall you be also of the consolation."
2 Thessalonians 1:4-5, "So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure:
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer:"
How bad can the persecution get just for sharing God's WORD?
Revelation 6:9-11, "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were SLAIN FOR THE WORD OF GOD, and for THE TESTIMONY which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be KILLED as they were, should be fulfilled."
Revelation 13;7, "And it was given unto him (satan/devil) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:"
Daniel 7:21, "I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;"
Daniel 12:7, " "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken (shattered), all these things will be completed."
SPECIAL BLESSING FOR THOSE KILLED FOR OBEYING JESUS AND HIS WORD, REFUSING TO TAKE MARK OR WORSHIP FINAL ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT
Revelation 14:13, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."
Revelation 20:4, "I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the WITNESS OF JESUS/YAHSHUA, and for the WORD of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
