The Apostle Paul begins a number of times in the Scriptures with "Do you not know...? So my best Holy Spirit educated guess here is that many believers simply do not know.
Such as we read in 1 Corinthians 6:19," What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." Maybe some of you need to really stop polluting and abusing your temples, maybe you don't want to put experimental injections into your petrol tank even if your mechanic urges you to do so. How many hours did your mechanic study fuel injections and how they may impact the health of your engine in mechanic school? Seems most mechanic schools only offered a few hours of class time which doesn't make your mechanic the expert does it.
Besides your mechanic probably studied at one of the Rockerfeller influenced manipulation schools. Seriously they don't know what the ingredients are and how they may alter your engine's design.
At salvation our spirit is made alive, our soul is reconciled with Papa God, and our body becomes a temple for the Holy Spirit and then you also become eligible for the first resurrection. You really don't want to miss out on that one, what a day that shall be. Especially as we see the prophetic landscape today unfolding as it is.
We see in Philippians 3:10, "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" (conformable means conforming to what is acceptable or expected)
11" If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead." This refers to the resurrection of the righteous among the wicked dead. The Apostle Paul says that our body is made eligible for the first resurrection and that this must be the goal of every Christian's life. I find this is significant that Paul being an Apostle did not take it for granted, then neither should we.
He is telling us, "My purpose is to live that I may qualify for the first resurrection." I therefore really do not believe we can take it for granted no matter how many church leaders today give you a message of grace on steroids that you can live any way you desire. The Word of God clearly indicates it depends on how we live. Most people seem to forget everything you say and do is being recorded and filmed from Heaven, and we shall all give an accounting for how we acted here.
2 Corinthians 5:10, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
Matthew 12:36 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
I tell you again you originated as a spirit first and as such you are able to have true communion with the Lord God almighty and worship Him. This is a very important verse stated clearly in (1 Corinthians 6:17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. It does not say one soul, but one spirit, because there is a difference between a soul and a spirit.
Just before this, we read Corinthians 6:15, "Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh."
The Apostle Paul is talking about a man being joined together with a prostitute, and he points out how that is indeed a physical union. However, the point here is that we understand our spiritual union.
This is a clear word picture of a very real union. Because only the spirit can be united with God Almighty here. The soul cannot nor can your body. Because of this understanding that the spirit and the spirit alone are capable of true worship. I shall have to believe the Word of God here as the Lord Jesus/Yeshua tells us in John 4:23, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
Almighty God, who created all the universes and galaxies, is searching this earth for people who will worship Him in spirit and truth. So it appears then the soul is capable of praise and thanksgiving, but only the spirit, I believe, can offer to Papa God the worship which is acceptable to him.
I pray the Holy Spirit helps you live a life that is glorifying to Christ so you appropriate what the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth has done for you. Amen!
Top of the Morning to you my friends I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision, and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
