Well, here we go! It is about time for 2016 Presidential candidates to start jockeying for position.
The Republicans will probably run Mitt again and the Democrats will probably thrust forward Obama Junior (Hillary).
Those running Mitt, hope their base (the moral majority) will hold their noses and vote for a guy who does not have the basic spiritual insight to understand who Jesus is. (Research Mormon teachings to get an understanding.) Mitt, a Republican who does not have the courage to call for Obama's impeachment when Obama continues to violate the Constitution and his oath of Office. However and thankfully, a spiritually-intelligent person is not an overwhelming positive for the office holder of President of the United States. Love of Country, morality, wit, political and social intelligence and good common sense are necessary. He has all of those.
I, along with many, did not vote for Mitt last time because I was offended that the Republicans put before us one of the lesser-qualified to vote for. However, comparatively, he is better-qualified now because Obama has brought the Country to such a low that even a half-wit giving half-effort could make significant improvements. Not that I am calling Mitt a half-wit nor insinuating he will only give half-effort. I am not. I think he is a reasonably intelligent man that has the welfare of our Country at heart. Compared to Obama or any Democrat he is a Jack compared to the Joker in the deck. Mitt is, by far, a better choice relative to most Republicans. He is not the best, but the worst Republican is far better than the best Democrat. I will vote for Mitt this time.
Some Republicans argue that it is better not to vote and let the Democrats win. They surmise, the Country will hit rock bottom in the next presidential cycle and people will rebel. Then, we can build our Country back and become a great nation again. Those who say that do not know history. No country has ever come back from overwhelming disaster except for Israel and no country in history has ever come back to equal or exceed their former glory, including Israel. There will never be a future Rocky movie where Stallone becomes world champion again. Dirty Harry will never be the powerful man he once was. The great Ali is a historical figure and his fighting-greatness will never be seen again. Smoking Joe is no more. Namath and Montana were greats on the field, but never again. (If you are too young to know what I am talking about, sorry.) A once great Country can become great again if it reverses its course mid-stream and does not wait until the country has but a memory of greatness.
Great countries that hit rock bottom do not become great again (except for Israel at the coming of Christ). Great countries that hit rock bottom become mostly irrelevant to the future, at best or, at worst, are consumed by emerging powers that take their place. That emerging power will be Russia. Russia will win the cold-war by default.
Vote Democrat or do not vote Republican and your action (or lack of action) will contribute to the demise of America. There is no coming back.
