Prince Edward Island Re-elects Party Named After "Mental Disorder"

Liberalism defined here by dictionary.com is a mental disorder - and "unrestricted" lifestyle. Not only does the dictionary agree with this but a number of experts have validated this dictionary definition as well.

Why then did the Liberals win another clear majority in Prince Edward Island? According to the Globe and Mail:
The Liberals came back to power with a trimmed majority in Prince Edward Island Monday, leaving incumbent premier Robert Ghiz facing a resurgent opposition as the province goes into what he called “unknown” economic waters.

The Liberals dropped a pair of districts to win 22 of the legislature's 27 seats. It was a clear victory but considerably less than the sweep predicted earlier in the campaign. The Progressive Conservatives boosted their seat count from two to five, almost certainly protecting the job of embattled Leader Olive Crane.
If, as the dictionary and some experts agree, Liberalism is a mental disorder then why do they keep getting elected and why did they get re-elected with another clear majority? The answer is more simple than one would likely expect - ignorance.

Most people live conservative lives. They self restrict - the polar opposite of Liberalism. They also have jobs, families, responsibilities which limit their ability to do any kind of real research. So they are forced to rely on the media - the liberal media like CBC Radio and Television (the tit which feeds the liberal disease). The political spin-doctors tell people what they want to hear and then do what they want to do when they get elected. It really is that simple.

So they've done it again. The Conservatives (a party named after the facts of life) did make some gains and will have a stronger voice in P.E.I. but the good people on the Island of fresh lobster and shrimp - of red mud and cold winters - will contiue to live conservative lives until the next election when they will be handed a bunch of conservative-based promises from all parties - with only one actually willing to deliver. And maybe next time the people of P.E.I. will actually vote for the party they mean to instead of the party by whom they've been lied to.
