Michelle Bachmann Prophecy - "Romney CAN'T Win" - Becomes Swiss Citizen

UPDATE at bottom of page!

Can Mitt Romney beat Barack Obama in the general election? Not according to Michelle Bachmann's prophetic projections.

In response to a question in December by ABC's Jonathan Karl, Bachmann said unequivocally that Romney could not win in a general election against President Obama. "No, he cannot beat Obama because his policy is the basis for Obamacare," she said. "The signature issue of Obama is Obamacare. You can't have a candidate who has given the blueprint for Obamacare. It's too identical. It's not going to happen."

He's not sufficiently anti-abortion.

During a December appearance on CBS's Early Show, Bachmann hit Romney for "significant flaws" in his pro-life record. "Romney and Gingrich, both of them have significant flaws that don’t represent what the people of Iowa are looking for, particularly on the life issue," she said. "Mitt Romney has been on the side of abortion [and] same-sex marriage."

He's a socialist.

While addressing the Family Research Council in November, Bachmann claimed Romney has socialist leanings. "Unfortunately for too many Republicans, they also aspire to be frugal socialists," she said. "The reason President Obama and some Republicans can get behind socialized medicine is because they share the same core political philosophy about the purpose of government."

"We cannot preserve liberty if the choice is between a frugal socialist and an out-of-control socialist."

He's a 'chameleon.'

In December, Bachmann hit Romney as being "very inconsistent" at a campaign stop in Florida. "My position here is to bring clarity. It's not to be negative but to bring clarity. That's what the voters are looking for. They're not interested in a chameleon."

He's a crony capitalist.

On MSNBC's "Morning Joe" in December, Bachmann described Romney as a "consummate insider." She called former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich "the poster child for crony capitalism," and said that Romney was "cut out of the same cloth."

Now it has been revealed that after decades of being married to a Swiss national, making her eligible for Swiss citizenship, she has finally decided to take advantage of this opportunity and hasn't ruled out running for political office in the land of coo-coo clocks.

But why now? Could it be that she only endorsed Romney in order to avoid any blame when Romney fails to bring the White House back into Republican control? Is Michelle Bachann preparing to abandon ship?

(CNN) - Proud American citizen Michele Bachmann now has another country to call home: Switzerland.

The Minnesota congresswoman and former GOP presidential candidate was granted dual citizenship with the European country, her spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday night.

UPDATE!  May 10/2012

The Minnesota congresswoman asked the Swiss government Thursday to withdraw her citizenship, saying she wanted to make it clear that she was a proud U.S. citizen.

  1. As much as it disturbs me to say it. I agree with her. I don't see Romney winning. And it makes me totally ill. God is in control that is all I can say.

  2. It was 2 years ago when I was accosted by the RNC for monetary contributions for their candidates who were to oppose Obama in the upcoming election and I saw the field of Republicans at the time as a sham and the platforms were Democrat lite. I told the requester of my feelings that the field was too weak and their platforms were not conservative enough to win and declined any funding for their cause. It has since come to light that Obama has and is continuing to rig the upcoming elections and it will be nearly impossible to defeat him. Even if they were on the level there will be too many on the government dole to vote against him. Our only hope is for this nation to come to revival and pray for God's intervention.
