Yes this would have been the sign in the sky at Christ coming. He is also signeling to those watching that His second return is upon us. At the same time this conjunction with the crescent moon and the “frown” allows us to also know that the “One” the world has waited for, the “king” of this world has arrived. A very sad time for the world in deed, but a time to rejoice for Christians. Our redemption is drawing nigh!
