Examiner.com - In recent days, CNN’s liberal British talk show host Piers Morgan hasn't been making friends with gun owners with his attitude about 2nd amendment rights. But now, it appears he wants to alienate Christian friendships as well.
On his show Monday night, “Piers Morgan Tonight,” Morgan called for a “gay marriage amendment” to be added to the Bible.
Reported by Red Alert Politics, Morgan asked guest Rick Warren, Pastor of Saddleback Church, “My point to you about gay rights, for example, it’s time for an amendment to the Bible,” Morgan told his guest, Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church.
“Not a chance,” Warren responded.
The statement by Morgan was also captured on the site Twitchy.
The staff at Twitchy said, “The all-knowing Piers Morgan, in his infinite wisdom, declared tonight to his guest Pastor Rick Warren that it is time for an “amendment to the Bible” to cover gay marriage. Apparently not content with rewriting the U.S. Constitution to exclude the Second Amendment, Morgan has now decided that he wants to boss around the almighty. He really doesn't understand how amendments work at all, does he?”
In response, Jen Harvey tweeted, “Piers Morgan should actually read the Bible before he says it needs to be "amended".

This isn't the first time Morgan has questioned the bible as being outdated.
On his show in August 2012 with comedian Jeff Foxworthy, Morgan questioned whether the bible should be an evolutionary thing and like amendments to the Constitution.
He asked Foxworthy, "How literally should people take the Bible? And should the Bible be an evolutionary thing, rather like the Constitution was amended a few times?"
Morgan’s troubles first began when he went after gun rights advocates and came off rude and insulting when he interviewed and blasted, Gun Owners of America executive director Larry Pratt, in the wake of the school shootings in Newtown, Connecticut by telling Pratt, "You're an unbelievably stupid man, aren't you?”
After that confrontation, a petition was created to ask that Morgan be deported and has gained over 72,000 signatures as of today and now; another petition was created asking that he not be deported because no one in the UK wants him back.
