PROPHECY WARS!

By Mike Shoesmith

I grew up as an atheist. When I turned 27 almighty God showed up in my life in such a powerful way I could no longer deny His existence. His love for me and manifest power in my life compelled me to give my life over to Him. That was many years ago.

Since then my father, mother, and brothers have abandoned me. I experienced the modern manifestation of a prophecy given by Jesus himself.

Matthew 10:35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39  He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Sadly, especially in these 'last days,' we are witnessing this same phenomenon happening within the 'church.' And it relates directly to eschatology.

Christian eschatology is a major branch of study within Christian theology. Eschatology, from two Greek words meaning last (ἔσχατος, last) and study (λογία, lit. discourse), is the study of the end of things, whether the end of an individual life, the end of the age, or the end of the world. Broadly speaking, Christian eschatology is the study of the destiny of humankind as it is revealed by the Bible, which is the primary source for all Christian eschatology studies.

The major issues and events in Christian eschatology are death and the afterlife, Heaven and Hell, the Second Coming of Jesus, the Resurrection of the Dead, the Rapture, the Tribulation, Millennialism, the end of the world, the Last Judgment, and the New Heaven and New Earth of the world to come. Eschatological passages are found in many places in the Bible, both in the Old and the New Testaments.

PPSIMMONS has recently been involved in reporting events relating to Barack Obama's role in 'endtime' events. Since Obama came on the scene in 2008 we have been reporting astounding similarities between him, his actions, and the actions of a certain person who is prophesied to be around during the 'endtime.'

When he finally decided to visit Israel PPSIMMONS reported some strange 'coincidences' like the dates matched the dates Jesus himself entered Jerusalem among other things. Other people also noticed these so-called 'coincidences.' One of those people was Steve Fletcher.

Steve approached us on our facebook page. He outlined a scenario which showed a great deal of clarity on why Obama's trip was significant with respect to 'endtime' timelines. Very basically it goes like this:

Obama received the Nobel Peace Price in 2009. It was a covenant of sorts, a promissory note to be a peace maker in the world. And Obama did actually promise to do many peace-related things, even so far as to halt the rise of the seas. But, alas, it was not to be. So, recently, members of the Nobel committee began requesting for the Nobel prize back! Had Barack Obama reneged on his 'covenant?' It appears so.

It's very intriguing to say the least. Then Mr Fletcher proceeded to opine on Obama's trip to Israel and his trip to the 'holy place' called The Church of the Nativity. Obama stood in this holy place and Steve believes that was yet another significant prophetic fulfillment.

So far so good.

Steve's findings are actually tracking quite nicely with ours. We have noticed many correlations between Obama's doings and biblical prophecy. Some say coincidental... whatever.

Steve crossed a red line we have always attempted to avoid. He predicted a date-certain for the rapture. He didn't 'prophesy' the rapture. The event has already been prophesied. Steve simply miscalculated his interpretation of the preexisting prophetic promises.

So, his interpretation failed. He has since learned to look less like a 'false prophet' and use a hypothetical approach to future prognostications. Now, hear this!

"I was afraid to turn around. I felt as though God was actually in the room with me."- Irvin Baxter
Mr Baxter is the main proprietor of Endtime Ministries. His above comment was a reference to his revelations from God about the times we are currently living in. He discovered, independently from us, that the first five trumpets have blown and we are currently in the trumpet days of Revelation.

When Steve Fletcher says things like 'the Lord showed me' this or that it is simply the case of God enlightening an individual to truth. It is not a case of false prophet damnation. The Bible has already prophesied certain things, events. It is our duty to interpret them as best we can. And in many cases God himself shows up to lend a hand.

Sadly, Steve Fletcher's own family has publicly denounced him. His so-called 'best friends' have deserted him. We shall not. Steve has agreed to submit and be accountable to PPSIMMONS Ministries. He is our friend. We are happy to have him aboard.

It is also very interesting that even Steve's situation of being abandoned by his family fulfills Bible prophecy given by Jesus Himself!

So then, should Steve be concerned when his very own brother leaves this comment on our facebook page?

Wesley Fletcher: As Steve's brother I need to share something for all of you who believe that his words are legitimate. First of all I need to say I love my brother and all his supporters still love him. I am angry at Satan for deceiving Steve. He was a great man of God but in his pursuit for meaning and purpose he opened himself up to a spirit of deception. To quote your own words, Steve was once an "EAGLE" doing great feats for God doing God's work in the Yucatan. After a prolonged fast with sleep deprevation and very little nutrition he saw a "VISION" and from that point forward he has become a "DUCK". He has written off all his supporters and even his own credentialing body. He now has no accountability. Many of us have tried to encourage him and help him put his "VISION" in it's proper perspective but he continues to place his own subjective revelations and "words from the Lord" above God's objective words. There is no exegesis involved. From the beginning it has been all about the Mayan calendar and numerology. And yes he has claimed that he is the "final prophet" with the "final revelation". Even in this so called "apology" he has not acknowledged his errors. He will continue to set new dates for the rapture. He is now what the Bible describes as a "false prophet". He needs to repent and come back to Christ and the word of God. Please join us here in Minnesota with your prayers for Steve that he would be delivered from Satan. We must always remember that we ourselves are also prone to extremes and deception and how important it is to seek the Lord and His word as our final authority. One last word "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" Numbers 23:19. If Steve's words were from God, as Christians we would be at the marriage supper of the Lamb and preparing for Christs return. Unfortunately that is not the case. In Christ our Lord.

How sad, to feel the need to mock and ridicule one's own brother on a public forum like that. I say no, Steve needn't worry at all about this. Sure, he could have used more tact and tried to appear less like a 'false prophet' even though he was merely interpreting a previously known prophesied event. Wrong interpretation does not a false prophet make.

PPSIMMONS is no stranger to mocking and ridicule from fellow 'believers.' It is so common now that we just accept it. And that is why we have embraced Steve. Because at the end of the day, when even his own family rejects him, he is willing to submit to people who genuinely understand his predicament.

He will emerge from this more refined. He is right about a great many things. You have not heard the last of PPSIMMONS and you have not heard the last of Steve Fletcher. Stay tuned!

  1. I followed this in it's entirety. Although the rapture did not occur, Steve Fletcher is still a man of God and I respect him! His prediction, based on his analysis of the events was founded, in my opinion. I have much respect for Mr. Fletcher still! How childish of his friends and family to abandon him. God bless you and your family Mr. Fletcher!
