Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
To which generation was Jesus referring?
Matthew 24 is full of endtime signs of tribulation and distress. One of the symbolic references is found in verse 32:
¶Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Matthew 24:32
The fig tree represents Israel throughout the Bible. Israel became a nation once again in 1948 as a result of the outcome of WW2. The article below tells the story of the 'Greatest Generation' and, if you will please notice the headline, it is passing away. Another sign, ladies and gentlemen, that the endtime is now?
D-Day celebrations dwindle as Greatest Generation passes away...
