Mega-Website Encourages Men to "Cheat with a wife that HATES her husband!"

I can remember listening to Dr James Dobson of Focus on the Family discuss this new website many years ago which was encouraging men and women to have affairs -sexual liaisons behind the backs of their spouses. Naturally I was disgusted as, I hope, was most of his audience.

This morning, I was going over my 'junk' folders as I often do. Many people send me important links to news and if the person is unknown to my network it will often get bumped to the junk or spam folder. This email was one of them. It was titled "Cheat with a wife that HATES her husband!"

I opened it in safe mode. What the spam email revealed was not shocking or disgusting on any level other that the normal one, you know, the level of disgust in which those of us who know what time it is constantly live; the level of "disturbed" that our new hearts require while at the same time feeling pity for the lost? The informed out there will understand.

The email, from an Ashley Madison promotions company, reads:

The sad reality here is they would not have existed all these years were it not for the willingness of people to participate. Yet, we know that this is, in fact, an "endtime" dynamic. We are told by Jesus that in the "last days" it will be as it was in Noah's day.

Luke 17:26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luke 17:27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

 And what was it like in the "days of Noe?"

Genesis 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6  ¶And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

If there is any good to take away from this it is that we know from these dynamics that Jesus will soon return to redeem this sick world which has violated the covenant and become "evil continually." So while we grieve for the sinfulness of humanity we draw consolation from the fact that our redemption is near, even at the door.
