According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the average life expectancy at the beginning of the 20th century was 47.3 years. A century later, that number had increased to 77.85 years, due largely to the development of vaccinations and other treatments for deadly diseases. Of course, vaccines and treatments only work if they're given, which is why many of these diseases still persist in poorer, developing countries. Despite the success of vaccines, only one of these diseases -- smallpox -- has been erased from the globe. Many more diseases would be totally eradicated if they were made more readily available and if, some argue, fewer people were opposed to the obviously beneficial ones.
Vaccines and antibiotics are the result of human ingenuity; the ability to recognize a gift and properly implement its use. Enter Dr Alexander Fleming.
By 1927, Fleming had been investigating the properties of staphylococci. He was already well-known from his earlier work, and had developed a reputation as a brilliant researcher, but his laboratory was often untidy. On 3 September 1928, Fleming returned to his laboratory having spent August on holiday with his family. Before leaving, he had stacked all his cultures of staphylococci on a bench in a corner of his laboratory. On returning, Fleming noticed that one culture was contaminated with a fungus, and that the colonies of staphylococci immediately surrounding the fungus had been destroyed, whereas other staphylococci colonies farther away were normal, famously remarking "That's funny". Fleming showed the contaminated culture to his former assistant Merlin Price, who reminded him, "That's how you discovered lysozyme." Fleming grew the mould in a pure culture and found that it produced a substance that killed a number of disease-causing bacteria. He identified the mould as being from the Penicillium genus, and, after some months of calling it "mould juice", named the substance it released penicillin on 7 March 1929. The laboratory in which Fleming discovered and tested penicillin is preserved as the Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum in St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington. [source]
The evolutionary atheistic community commonly uses the development of vaccines and antibiotics as evidence for deep-time evolution. Since bacteria and viruses mutate (evolve/change over time) to override the usefulness of the current batch of vaccines and antibiotics, medical research must continuously adjust the antibiotics and vaccines to compensate. This, they say, proves that evolution is indeed happening. The reason we consider this conclusion laughable is due to the tremendous leap one is forced to make in order to peacefully conclude that just because bacteria turn into bacteria and viruses turn into viruses this means that fish turn into people... the very essence of atheistic evolution.
And make no mistake, when asked for the best evidence for "evolution" as the secular community defines it they will, without fail, point to bacteria turning into bacteria and viruses turning into viruses. And suddenly, after hijacking the science involved in aggressively combating the decay spiral in which humanity finds itself, the secular world, that segment which is desperately trying the avoid cognitive dissonance, boldly levels the charge that creationists offer no advantage to society. This preemptive slight does nothing, however, to avoid the obvious and less confusing reality - creation science is responsible for all beneficial discoveries and exactly no useful scientific endeavors require the belief in deep-time fish-to-man evolution. None.
Vaccines? Created. Antibiotics? Created. The I-phone? Created. The airplane? Created. All the direct result of creation science. None of these things would exist without the implementation of creation science. When creative beings observed the properties of air density when an object with a flat surface is forced against it these same creative beings discovered that these same properties produced lift. Voila! The airplane! And the list goes on and on. This is creation science. This is intelligent design!
Now I want to speak to my Christian brothers and sisters. We don't know for certain how old the earth is. We don't know how long Adam lived before the fall of humanity. It is wrongfully assumed, in my opinion, that Adam was created and the very next day he disobeyed the Lord and the entire earth was thrust into the throws of death and decay. We can, however, know that it has been approx six thousand years since the "fall" event which gave us all a death sentence.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 5:12
It was at this point that death "entered in." Think of death like a virus and humanity like an individual body. There is no cure for it. And it's getting worse. If not for the diligence of creation scientists bacteria and viruses would literally take over the world. Germs which were once beneficial prior to the fall are now killing us with increasing intensity. And this is clearly predicted in the Bible.
So what's a Christian to do? First, let's stop with the contrarian melodramatics. Vaccines are good and beneficial when properly administered. Should all girls take the HPV vaccine? The secular community operates under the heinous presupposition that all girls will have pre-marital sex. They call it "herd vaccinating." They don't take into account the moral effectiveness of godliness and biblical instruction. Let's face it, if Christopher Hitchens had lived a godly biblical life he would, by his own admission, still be alive today.
It is arguable therefore that HPV vaccines should not be administered to young girls. Abstinence and godly living is still the best prevention against sexually transmitted diseases. We should not be so eager to give up on our children, after all.

However, if a young girl is having sex promiscuously outside the protection of monogamy within the context of marriage she might consider getting vaccinated in this day and age since all cervical cancer is the result of contracting the HPV virus. If that is your lifestyle choice then by all means, get vaccinated.
Christians, however, should approach vaccines very prayerfully. As any good historian knows, evil people have used modern technology of all sorts, including medical science, to commit horrible atrocities. From Caligula to Hitler, the history books are chock full of bad actors using good science to hurt instead of heal. Some have argued that certain proponents of "population reduction" could be using the guise of vaccinating people even today to, in fact, kill them off.
Therefore let us not blindly accept the insertion of a needle into our flesh without the benefit of a few hours of research. And let us also not forget that an ounce of prevention can really be worth a pound of cure. But let us not be contrarian either. After all, penicillin comes from mold, not Monsanto.

The death virus is winning. Were it not for creation science, an ability given to us by our creator, the germs would literally take over. The cleansing laws of the Torah were specifically designed to combat germs. Today we have tools the ancients could only dream of possessing. But today the viruses and bacteria are nastier and more eager to kill you.
I thank God for creation science every time an ear infection - mine or a loved one's - is defeated by an antibiotic. I thank God for the ability to use aggressive force against the curse of death on this fallen planet... for now at least.
One day there will be a "restoration" of all things. Viruses and bacteria will revert back to their beneficial roles in and around us. Until then it is we Christians who own the science. We alone hold the key to why this is happening and why we need medical research. Humanity is on life support. The Bible predicts it and the Lord is helping us along the way, giving us the tools to keep us from crashing until He returns.
Here are 12 diseases that could be completely eradicated from the world if vaccines were made available to all.

This is also part of the Atheists no God argument-because God wouldn't give little children cancer. Fact is-bad/evil/disaster events are part of Gods plan/will as well-to spur other of his people either en mass or as individuals to act positively to rid the world of those events-just as Ezekiel 37 alludes to the Holocaust giving rise to the State of Israel. ( ie how could a loving God allow his people to be slaughtered)
