Does Donna Brazile Worship Obama... as God?

Following a resolution of Congress, President George Washington proclaimed Thursday the 26th of November 1789 a day of “public thanksgiving and prayer” devoted to “the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be.”

So why did Donna Brazile recently send out an email regarding the coming Thanksgiving Holiday during which, as George Washington declared, was intended as a day of “public thanksgiving and prayer” devoted to “the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be?”

The email reads in part:

I saw something the other day that truly warmed my heart and made me really step back and count my blessings for the past eight years we've had with President Obama
Just in time for Thanksgiving, folks have been taking the time to say "Thanks, Obama" -- and they mean it.

"Thanks, Obama, for helping me get health insurance."
"Thanks, Obama, for gas being $2 a gallon."
"Thanks, Obama, for being a pretty cool guy."
"Thanks, Obama, for giving us hope in dark times."
Forgetting the fact that "Obamacare" is an unmitigated disaster and that the price of gas has dropped because of the law of supply and demand, that is, the economy is in horrible shape thereby reducing demand for gas resulting in the drop in the price of gas, the Thanksgiving holiday was instituted as a day of giving thanks to God... not Obama.

In reality we have exactly nothing to thank Obama for apart from actually agreeing to leave office. We can add that to the long list of things for which we can thank Almighty God this Thanksgiving.
