A wave of 1,773 fires driven by unseasonably hot, dry, and windy weather have swept across Israel in the past week.
Some of these blazes are believed to have been deliberately set as acts of terrorism.
At this time, as we Email you, the fires have been put out, but the damage is staggering.
In all:
32,000 acres nationwide, forest and urban have been burned.
1,400 homes were damaged or destroyed.
740 people were injured including trauma.
1,840 people are left homeless.
481 cars were burned.
Miraculously, there are no one died in any of the blazes.
Most of the larger fires were centered in and around the highly populated areas of Jerusalem and the northern port city of Haifa. But property and acreage in nearly every region of the country went up in smoke. Haifa was hardest hit. In that area, over 82,000 residents evacuated.
Some authorities believe it could take 30 years or more for the country to fully recover.
The fires have been set intentionally. At least 35 Arabs and Palestinians were arrested on suspicion of arson or for inciting arson. And two Arab Israelis confessed to deliberately setting fires.
How should we as believers in Yeshua (Jesus) - the Prince of Peace respond? We believe, first and foremost, we must respond with prayer.

The Word instructs us to care for THE NEEDY IN THEIR DISTRESS.
In the Book of Romans the Apostle Paul instructs the Gentiles to send material offerings to Jerusalem in order to repay a DEBT that the Gentiles have towards the Jews for receiving all spiritual blessings from them! Indeed from the Jewish People Gentiles have received the Bible, The Messiah, The Gospel and the 12 Jewish Apostles! Everything that matters spiritually came from Israel to the nations!
We see these $200 VOUCHERS as an important seed to repay that debt.
Romans 15:26-27 -
26 For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. 27 Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.
This is the Heart of the Father in Heaven towards them and with our money and prayers we can represent His Heart to them saying "thank you Israel for giving us the Messiah" and now "We give His Love in a practical way back to you".
