Un-confessed sins may make people sick but they do not keep them from being healed.
So often I have heard professing Christians tell me that they think the Old Testament is not important now that we have a new and better covenant. I submit to you Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."
There is an amazing cohesiveness with the precepts in our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural found in both the Old and New Testaments. As these precepts are found to be confirmed in the New Testament, so all these precepts from the Old Testament cannot be disputed. If God said it He meant it, and no one shall change this equation. Because clearly He means what He said and said what He means.
Considering we find in the New Testament the Lord says all scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit, which would be including the Old Testament scriptures that are for our instruction in righteousness. Besides the fact that when this was written there was not yet a New Testament.
2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
If we are going to be inspired let us be inspired by God and His doctrine so we can follow the Lord Jesus into righteousness, where we shall be reproofed and corrected as needed so we can attend to the Lords instructions to be blessed. A blessing that can bring healing to all our flesh as we become a doer of His Word.
Why then should we be concerned about what others may think when we only truly need to be concerned about what the Lord thinks! That we can also learn to think the way the Lord thinks and perceives things.
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." We read in Philippians 2:5" Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:"
Need I say more, nudge, nudge. Lets get sanctified, sanctified, let the Lord see your body as a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1" I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Because we are here to pump you up. I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of Agape love.
