As you may recall in the midst of a storm, how the Lord Jesus/Yeshua walked on the water, whilst the disciples were terrified thinking they were seeing a ghost. That is until Jesus says to them, "Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid." Peter also discovered that day after he walked on water to come to the Lord Jesus in the midst of any the storms of life. The Lord Jesus is right there to reach you in any situation, calm the raging waters and bring us back into his supernatural peace. Amen.
John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Whatsoever troubles we may face, all those times of testing in trials and tribulation, we are still instructed to be of good cheer for the Lord Jesus has overcome the world. Hallelujah!
If we can cheer at sports events why not for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? Because in Christ alone is our hope, our completeness, our joy, our peace, our wholeness, restoration and healing. Knowing Jesus personally gives us supernatural comfort, encouragement, strength and makes us always victorious.
This is one of the benefits the Lord does not want you to forget about as it is written. Psalm 103:2,"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;"
We need to stay filled with the hope of His glory and be of good cheer, for greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
One way to do this is staying constantly connected with the Lord in every area of your life, without exception.
We all face trails and assorted tribulations and if we are not staying connected to the Lord Jesus, I reckon it be pretty easy to get overwhelmed and be discouraged by temporary troubles. Some people take permanent solutions to temporary problems. Other just lose their joy and feel like God has somehow abandoned you and they begin to entertain the most dangerous spirits like self-pity. Then you hear people begin asking why is God allowing this? Why is this happening to me?
I dare say, this has more to do with not understanding who you are in Christ and exercising your God given authority over the works of the enemy of our souls.
If someone says unkind things to you, should you entertain those statements and allow those poisonous chemicals to be released into your holy temple? Continually replaying the offenses and places you were wounded? Matthew 18 gives us clear instructions how to handle any offenses, and we read in Isaiah 54:17,"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."
Having a close relationship with the Lord Jesus means we ought to begin seeing things, and other people they way Jesus sees them. If someone does not see you that way, it should not effect your abilities to see them and value them the way Jesus sees them. I mean Jesus died for that person and loves them too. So you must therefore keep extending His mercy, grace and love to everyone. Keeping in mind, 1 Corinthians 2:16," For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
