Pastor Caspar's Commentaries - Self- Talk

The devil uses the spirit of fear and confusion to try and cause you to worry about the future, knowing full well that you can not be in faith and fear at the same time. Most of our worrying is simply listening to a lying spirit self-talk with us as if it is your very own thoughts about what we anticipate is yet to come, or won't come when we think we need it to come. Let us take heed of the Lord Jesus' statement in Matthew 6:34, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

Seems to me we would be a whole lot better off and enjoying the divine peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost the Lord Jesus/Yeshua wants you to have if you were just simply trusting Him and dealing with the things set before you today. Especially in your thought life, rather then worrying about how it will be tomorrow, next month or next year. I am not saying you shouldn't make some plans for the future, but I am saying let us learn a more excellent way and deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow after Christ! (Matthew 16:24) Considering what Jesus knew lay ahead of Him at the cross, I suspect in the same way He instructed us to do that He also had to keep His focus on one day at a time. Especially when we read the account of Jesus praying in the garden before he was arrested in Luke 22:44," And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." If all those years Jesus was continually just focusing on His upcoming tortuous death, maybe He would not have been able to fully function as He did performing all those countless healing miracles, let alone be in such supernatural peace and joy that He obviously operated in here on earth.

So I submit for your consideration John 14:27 ,"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Seriously would the Lord Jesus tell us not to entertain the spirit of fear and not be afraid if we were NOT able to be overcomers and do as He instructed us? Jesus/Yeshua still leads us by example and if He did this He has every right to command His followers to do likewise and stay in His Holy peace.
Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
