Pastor Caspars Commentaries: cast down and not exalt

We all really have to continue to cast down and not exalt words and images in your mind's eye that try to be above the Word of God. If you bow down to a spirit of fear the Lord will step back and allow you your freedom of choice to think the thing you fear is greater then God's ability to help you overcome it. For example, when demons come and try to talk to you, and you hear them say things like, nothing is going to go well with you or that you are going to get sick and die, you cannot exalt that word, instead you must speak out loud when possible and declare and exalt the Word of God instead, which says, in places like Psalm 118:17," I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

We read in 2 Corinthians 10:5 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

Back in Psalm 138:1,"I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name."

There is no name above the name of Jesus/Yeshua, and before he was manifested as Jesus he was called the living Word. Here he is saying the Word is even above His name. For example, you can pray all you want and call on the name of Jesus, but if you are not being a doer of the Word and obeying His commandments it may not work so well for you.

James 1:22, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
