Pastor Caspar's Commentaries - Following In Your Footsteps

I recall a story back in England after a rainy day as the ground was still quite wet and left impressions where you walked. A father of a small boy was crossing a muddy field to get a drink from his local pub. He felt someone was following him and turn around to see his little boy who said, "Look daddy I'm following in your footsteps". The father of that boy understood the profound implications of that simple statement and immediately turned around, picked up his young son and went back home never to drink again and to live his life for Christ. There is an old saying," that more is caught than taught". Some years ago I saw some research that found if both parents are faithful to the Lord over 93% of the children remain faithful to Christ throughout their life. If only one parent was faithful the figure dropped down to 73%. If both parents only occasional attended church the figure dropped to 6%. There is more to this then simply a genetic predisposition to any sort of addiction, because the root issues to all addictions is a broken relationship with your Heavenly Father so that you don't feel loved deep inside. Keeping in mind God designed you to be loved. Science has now shown through transgenerational epigenetic inheritance, that the thoughts and actions of your parents, grandparents throughout your generations has caused changes in DNA that is then carried on to you.

Both the good and the bad, just as the Holy Bible told us that the sins of the father are passed on as well as the blessings that are passed on through the generations. However, all things are possible with God and anything the devil did or does in your life you are able overcome through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua, who loves you with an everlasting love. Providing you meet the Lord's conditions as Jesus' stated in John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments". Jesus told us in Luke 9:23 "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Are you willing to do as the Lord instructs us to be blessed? We read in James 1:22 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Jesus said in Luke 21:15, "For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.' I say hallelujah! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
