Seriously should any distraction interfere as you set goals for yourself, keep in mind 1 Corinthians 10:31," Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
We read in 1 Corinthians 15:58," Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
In other words keep pushing forward and pressing in with focused determination and you shall accomplish whatsoever through Christ who strengthens you.
If you entertain any spirits of doubt or unbelief simply remember Matthew 19:26," But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

I suspect over the years re-gifting became part of this tradition.
Re-gifting a gift can certainly be a win-win situation for you, seeing how you have something you don't really need or can't use and know someone who could benefit. Nevertheless in your effort to save money and get rid of unwanted things please don't forget to pray first and consider the feelings of both the giver and the recipient. Whilst re-gifting might not seem too important as you like to bless someone else, remember the original giver took the time and effort to carefully select that gift to give to you, and your recipient deserve that same consideration.
Matthew 7:12 ,"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."
