Pastor Caspar Commentaries - Compound Interest

Are all sins equal before the Lord or are there actually some sins that shall bring even greater consequences? After the Israelite's ignorantly and foolishly made that Golden Calf the Lord had Moses inform them that indeed, "You have sinned a great sin,' implying there are degrees of sins, and yes they are all filthy before the Lord. So Moses needed to go and make an atonement for them. We read in Exodus 32:30,"And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin." We read in places where we see varying degrees of idolatry going on in the Temple, like in Ezekiel 8:13,"He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do."

We have often heard erroneously that all sins is equal. This is simply not true, in fact the Scriptures even tell us to flee sexual immorality because it is essentially a even worse sin.

1 Corinthians 6:18," Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body."
Today we have people calling good evil and evil good, whilst many in the churches are believing in a message of grace on steroids. For example, how many "professing Christians" today support certain political parties whose agendas go completely contrary to Holy Word of God? How can you say you love the Lord Jesus/Yeshua and vote in and support those who openly oppose the Word of God? How can you support those who pass laws to murder infants in the womb as well as soon after they are born?

They who embrace ungodly things should be reminded of what the Lord has actually said and not ignore such warning as we read in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'
The Lord Jesus/Yeshua desires a very deep and meaningful relationship with you. This is one reason He endured the sufferings of the cross to make it possible for you to be saved.

There is a big difference in knowing about someone and knowing them intimately. If you were to move to another city and go find a wealthy part of town with a neighbourhood of mansions could you just go knock on the front door of some mansion and tell them that you want to move in and live there with them forever? Mostly likely they shall say, I do not know you, and I have no relationship with you! You must go straightaway before I call security. Today is a good day to make your peace with the Lord Jesus and turn away from all poisonous pathways so you no longer travel with any demons in your life. Know the truth that makes you free. John 8:36," If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

Considering all this seems most professing Christians also never seem to associate joy with repentance. They want to experience Christianity, and they want results, they want signs and wonders and another great move of the Holy Spirit. But repentance as the Lord Jesus taught us does not seem to be taught much in our modern society. Our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural tells us no one visible or invisible can take your joy, or make you feel inferior without your consent. The joy of the Lord is your strength.

The Lord Jesus/Yeshua said in John 10:27," My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
