On judgment day I think I rather have a million people tell me that I offended them with the Gospel truth then have one person say, "I heard you preach, but you just told us what we wanted to hear." 2 Timothy 4:3,"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"
2 Corinthians 5:10,"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
Step out of your comfort zone and trust the Lord to meet you there.
The greatest threat today is not so much terrorists organisations and shadow governments as it lukewarm Christianity. The only degree you need to serve in Christ's end time army is a hot degree. After all the Lord Jesus rebuked 5 out 7 churches in Revelation.
We so often hear someone use the verse stating, " Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. " (Revelation 3:20).
Only this verse is not intended for evangelism: Yes indeed Jesus/Yeshua wants to come into our lives, and he is always a perfect gentlemen waiting patiently for us to invite him in as he stands next to the door of our heart. However reading this passage in context reveals the facts that these verses are not speaking about the door of someone's heart; rather this is a serious rebuke to the door of the church in Laodicea, which like many modern churches today had managed to lock Jesus/Yeshua out!
In these letters addressing the seven churches of Asia Minor we find the Lord Jesus not just rebuking his churches for its sin. The Lord is also quick to praise each church for its good qualities, that is except the church in Laodicea.
That church that represents Laodicea is "wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked" and is even warned if they do not get with God's program they will be spit out of God's mouth for being neither hot nor cold, but lukewarm.
In other words this passage is not a call for lost sheep to join the flock (church) rather it's a heavy rebuke against one particular flock, which had willfully hindered its own Shepherd from leading them in their rebellion. Much like the modern motivational and popular ministers in churches today who are able to present an entire message without ever quoting the Holy Scriptures. Beware beloved reader the time is at hand.
Revelation 3:16," So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."
17,Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
The Lord Jesus/Yeshua said in John 10:27," My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Jesus said in Luke 21:15, "For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.' I say hallelujah! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
