Microchip implants have become standard practice for our pets, but have been a tougher sell when it comes to the idea of putting them in people.

Science fiction author Elizabeth Moon last week rekindled the debate on whether it's a good idea to "barcode" infants at birth in an interview on a BBC radio program.

“I would insist on every individual having a unique ID permanently attached — a barcode if you will — an implanted chip to provide an easy, fast inexpensive way to identify individuals,” she said on The Forum, a weekly show that features "a global thinking" discussing a "radical, inspiring or controversial idea" for 60 seconds .

Moon believes the tools most commonly used for surveillance and identification — like video cameras and DNA testing — are slow, costly and often ineffective.

In her opinion, human barcoding would save a lot of time and money.

The proposal isn’t too far-fetched - it is already technically possible to "barcode" a human - but does it violate our rights to privacy?

With all of these "experts" coming out and initiating the conversation and news aggregates like The Drudge Report putting it out to the masses it really does appear that the population is being massaged into acceptance of mass "marking" of individuals for identification purposes. It may not manifest as a microchip or a tattoo, but whatever it looks like, it's coming. 

Mark of the Beast Watch! Students in Texas to be monitored with microchips

If it’s good enough for a dog, it’s good enough for a kid, right? A school district in Texas will be watching over its students a lot more closely, but not with the aid of extra teachers. Instead each pupil will be monitored with microchips.

Officials at the Northside Independent School District in rural Bexar County, Texas have approved a plan to track the whereabouts of each and every student by requiring them to walk the halls with identification cards in their pockets that are equipped with RFID microchips.

Mark of the Beast Watch! Obama Slips RFID Requirement into HR 3200

The proposed America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 (or HR 3200) was an unsuccessful bill introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on July 14, 2009. The bill was introduced during the first session of the 111th Congress as part of an effort of the Democratic Party leadership to enact health care reform. The bill was not approved by the House, but was superseded by a similar bill, the proposed Affordable Health Care for America Act (HR 3962), which was passed by the House in November 2009, by a margin of 220-215 votes

Obama slipped into his Obamacare law (HR 3200) that Americans be chipped with an RFID device for medical purposes.

Though the original bill did not pass the House it should be a waning to us all on the intent behind the Obama presidency. Is he trying to implement the prophesied "Mark of the Beast"?

HR 3200 (pg 1001, paragraph 1) mentions this.

H.R. 3200 section 2521, Pg. 1001, paragraph 1.
The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the ‘registry’) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and outcomes data on each device that— ‘‘is or has been used in or on a patient; ‘‘and is— ‘‘a class III device; or ‘‘a class II device that is implantable, life-supporting, or life-sustaining.”

Within the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act:

A class II implantable device is an “implantable radio frequency transponder system for patient identification and health information.” The purpose of a class II device is to collect data in medical patients such as “claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the Secretary.”

Section 163: 

Page 58 Lines 5 through 15 reads:

(D) enable the real-time (or near real time) determination of an individual’s financial responsibility at the point of service and, to the extent possible, prior to service, including whether the individual is eligible for a specific service with a specific physician at a specific facility, which may include utilization of a machine-readable health plan beneficiary identity detection card; (E) enable, where feasible, near real-time adjudication of claims.

Human "Kill Switch" Closer to Approval

The Financial Times is reporting a wirelessly controlled implant, which delivers precise drug doses into the patient’s body, has had a successful first clinical trial, bringing the possibility of the “pharmacy on a chip” that could transform drug delivery closer.

The device could transform drug delivery and help usher in a new era of telemedicine – delivering healthcare over a distance – said Robert Langer, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where the project started 15 years ago. “You could literally have a pharmacy on a chip,” he said. “You can do remote control delivery, you can do pulsatile drug delivery, and you can deliver multiple drugs.”

Remote drug delivery? There's something very creepy about this whole technology; especially in light of what we know is coming prophetically speaking. The Bible has many "end time" scenarios playing out in the last days; many of which we have seen happen in only the last 100 years. There is enormous evidence showing that we are, in fact, smack dab in the middle of the trumpet days of the seventh seal of Revelation.

According to Bible prophecy, when the seventh trumpet blows, triggering the long-awaited "rapture" of the church, the so-called Antichrist will totally take over, set himself up as a god, and demand to be worshiped. People who refuse to worship him, he will "cause" to be killed.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation 13:15

The technology for all of this; the mark and the killing, is all coming into place. People can be tracked using RFID technology and now, using the latest invasive chip technology, can be killed. Unlike most drug delivery devices, which release medicine gradually, the new microchip releases doses at specified times. These can be preprogrammed into the device or triggered by a doctor using the wireless communications facility... and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
