Report: Mysterious Bones May Belong to John the Baptist

Bones claimed to be of John the Baptist that were analysed by the research team. Clockwise from top left, the knucklebone, ulna, part of cranial bone and molar (together) and rib.
A small handful of bones found in an ancient church in Bulgaria may belong to John the Baptist, the biblical figure said to have baptized Jesus.
There's no way to be sure, of course, as there are no confirmed pieces of John the Baptist to compare to the fragments of bone. But the sarcophagus holding the bones was found near a second box bearing the name of St. John and his feast date (also called a holy day) of June 24. Now, new radiocarbon dating of the collagen in one of the bones pegs its age to the early first century, consistent with the New Testament and Jewish histories of John the Baptist's life.
"We got some dates that are very interesting indeed," study researcher Thomas Higham of the University of Oxford told LiveScience. "They suggest that the human bone is all from the same person, it's from a male, and it has a very high likelihood of an origin in the Near East," or Middle East where John the Baptist would have lived.

Sixth Trumpet Watch - US official arrives in Israel for secret talks on Iran

The head of the US delegation to nuclear talks with Iran arrived inIsrael on Friday to brief officials after a meeting in Baghdad that achieved little other than arranging more talks.

"She has arrived," said US embassy spokesman Kurt Hoyer. "I'm not 100 percent sure what her schedule is," he added, when asked whom Sherman would be meeting while in the country.
Israeli public radio however said Sherman was to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to report on the Baghdad talks, at which world powers noted "significant differences" with Iran but agreed to meet again in Moscow next month.
Israel sees itself as Tehran's number-one target if Iran acquires the bomb and is highly sceptical that diplomacy will work.
Later on Friday, the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna was expected to circulate a report detailing Iran's latest advances in expanding its nuclear activities.

World's OLDEST Preacher - Bishop Otis G Clark -109 YEARS OLD

Photo and text from http://lifeenrichmentinc.com

Bishop Otis G. Clark was born on February 13, 1903, in Meridian, Oklahoma before Oklahoma was even a state. At the time it was Indian Territory. Evangelist Clark is 107 years old. At the age of eighteen. Otis was caught in the "1921 Tulsa Race Riot" in the Greenwood District of Tulsa, Oklahoma. At the time Greenwood was a mecca for African-Americans who owned their own successful businesses due to the oil boom. This riot was one of the worse race riots on American soil caused by jealously. As a young man fleeing for his life he hoboed on a train to California looking for his biological father and left Tulsa for many years.

Clark was heavily involved with the original Azusa Street Mission members. The Azusa Street Revival began in 1906 and was led by William J. Seymour in Los Angeles, California. Before the Azusa Street Mission building was torn down, Clark was given the Power of Attorney by Bishop Driscoll over the Azusa Street Mission. He still has the original document. Samuel M. Crouch of Los Angeles, California officially ordained Clark as a preacher - this took place at 33rd and Compton Street in Los Angeles. He also had the honor of serving Charles H. Mason, whom he affectionately called “Dad.” Bishop Mason is the founder of the Church of God in Christ.

While living in California, Clark had the opportunity to rub shoulders with many rich and famous actors. He knew a young man named Steppin’ Fetchit. Steppin’ Fetchit chose Clark to be a friend and buddy. Clark also had the opportunity to serve Clark Gable, Joan Crawford and Charley Chaplin, some of America’s most famous movie stars. Clark and his wife lived in Joan Crawford's home. He was the butler and she was the cook.

The years of 1929-1932 represented dark and desperate days for America, known as The Great Depression. In the midst of the chaos of this time - God blessed Clark. During The Great Depression he was well provided for with ample food and clothing. Not once did he stand in a bread or soup line.

To the glory of God, he has served as an International Minister for over 80 years, longer than the average life expectancy. Clark is presently going strong at the young age of 109 as he continues to preach and write about the oracles of God.

Otis Clark's biography was released for his 105th birthday. To read more about his life - order your copy today!

Let PPSIMMONS Help You KEEP your New Year's Resolution

New Year's Eve is the moment in time when, wherever you are in the world, a restart happens in your life. Whether you want it to or not a new year is upon you. There's nothing you can do about it. The earth moves around the sun in yearly, 365 day cycles and once a year, at the end of that cycle, it all begins again. A common thing to do in people's minds is to make so-called "new year's resolutions". Smokers, over-eaters, and womanizers the world over will be resolving to turn over a new leaf and hit that imaginary restart button - that invisible starting line to mark the beginning of a new lease on life.

Resolution [rez-uh-loo-shuhn] - a resolve or determination: to make a firm resolution to do something.
It really is a great idea to use a firm date to resolve to make a change in one's life. Why not give yourself an added boost by letting PPSIMMONS help you by showing you the tool given by almighty God - a transcendental formula outlined in scripture which was designed to train you how to get control of your mind, will, and emotions instead of being controlled by them.

As a believer you have been adopted into the family of God. You are a new creation with certain assignments and exploits to conquer. Find freedom in Christ and get going on those assignments. Get Fast Track to Freedom from PPSIMMONS. Do it now.

Why it DOESN'T Matter WHAT You Believe About the Rapture

On September 11th 2001 two hijacked airplanes slammed into the Trade Towers in Manhattan NY and an hour later both of them were dropped to street level. Imagine a person walking into work that morning at the tower and as he enters the building he looks up and thinks "There's no way these towers will ever fall. I am in the safest place on earth".

It really didn't matter what the person believed. The towers came down in spite of the person's beliefs about it. The future was coming for this man no matter what his doctrinal stance on the matter. Maybe he even argued with his buddies over a coffee the week before. Perhaps his friends were conveying to him the evidence for an imminent attack on the property. "No way!" he said to his friends, "that is just a bunch baloney!"

The rapture is as sound a doctrine as any other. There is just as much evidence for the rapture as there is for - say - the Trinity. And the rapture is coming - like a train moving steadily down the tracks - ever proceeding and not slowing down. There is no need to argue with people about it - no need to cause divisive bickering and fighting. It will happen - we promise.

The Bible does not need to be defended. Like a lion in a cage all we need to do is let it out - it will defend itself.
