Whether he meant to do it or not, Matt Damon gave the "gay" marriage and adoption movement a smack down this week in an interview with closet homosexual Anderson Cooper on Damon's new movie "We Bought a Zoo".
In the interview Damon is relating to the character in the movie saying, "I think mostly because I saw it as a love story between this guy and his wife". Then, in a surreal moment of clarity; especially for the Hollywood elite, Damon tells Cooper there are things that only a mother can give to her child. "I just see in my wife... the way she can talk to our kids and I am just thankful that she is there."
The full interview will air Wednesday Dec 21. You can see the preview written by Cooper himself here. Even though he doesn't discuss his personal life, independent news media have reported that Cooper is "gay" and in May 2007, Out magazine ranked him second behind David Geffen in its list of the fifty "Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America."
It's a simple reality of life: A husband and wife can give a more balanced approach to parenting a child than 2 men or 2 women can. Am I saying there aren't some hideous examples of bad parenting or spousing in hetro families - no! But when it's good, it's the best. Same sex parenting can never be that good - there's just an everpresent imbalance. The GOD-endorsed way is always best.
