If you ever wanted to visit Barackobama.com these days you will be directed to a different website than the one people were familiar with during the elections. The new website is called "Organizing For Action." You'll see all of the familiar landscaping with the now famous logo.
Back in the middle of his first term I joined the Obama email list through the official website to keep track of the activities over there. I never unsubscribed from the list. I'm glad I didn't.
This morning the Obama team sent out another email, this time pursuing the climate change hoax once again. Since their epic failure to secure gun confiscation legislation they have returned to the old song-and-dance routine which has so successfully lined the pockets of Al Gore along with countless cronies making it big in the 'renewable' sector.
The email subject read "Unicorns exist**." Yes, it read those exact two words. Now this I simply had to read.
After calling me "Friend" (they obviously aren't monitoring the list very well) they offer the following as the opening salvo:
If I said to you: "Unicorns exist, I totally just saw one galloping down the street," most likely you'd give me a sad look and get on with your day.The writer, Ivan Frishberg, Climate Campaign Manager, Organizing for Action, is hoping to paint a picture in our minds; a negative image of climate change deniers. "Surely people will equate the non-existence of unicorns with the existence of man-made global warming!" - he must have thought. He goes on:
Now obviously, it doesn't matter if I just make stuff up about unicorns. But it matters, and it matters a whole lot, that so many of our elected officials in Washington who represent us are denying science and using that denial to refuse to take action on climate change. Here's the problem, Ivan (we're friends so we call each other by our first names). Unicorns really DO exist! This is a tremendous problem for both ignorant, uneducated Obama staffers and ignorant uninformed atheists/evolutionists. It's the one thing they all have in common. They are mockers; scoffers. And yet, tremendously lacking in any real common sense.
It's actually dangerous -- and it matters how we react.
Each and every day that congressional leaders hold on to their bizarre fantasy world, OFA is going to be there, not letting them get away with it.
Unicorns are a favorite target for the atheist crowd. They use the references to unicorns to suggest the Bible is a book of fairy-tales and myths. Yet few people ever engage them with the truth - that unicorns not only existed in Bible days but can actually be seen today, in modern times.
Let's look at how the Bible describes the unicorn.
In the book of Numbers the unicorn is described using one word, "strength." In the book of Job we see a more in-depth look at what this creature looks like. Read it now and see if any images come to mind.
Job 39:9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?In this passage the Lord was schooling Job with a lesson of remembrance. Job knew what a unicorn was. He knew it wasn't going to be harnessed for farming. It was no horse and certainly no ox. The message is clear. This is an animal with tremendous strength and is called a "unicorn" by the Lord. Is there such an animal alive today which fits this description? An animal known for its strength, not a farm animal, and which has a single horn on its head? Forget the images given to us by weavers of nonsensical fairy-tales. This animal is alive today and is actually called a "unicorn."
10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?
From Wikipedia:
The Indian rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis) is also called greater one-horned rhinoceros and Asian one-horned rhinoceros and belongs to the Rhinocerotidae family. Listed as a vulnerable species, the large mammal is primarily found in north-eastern India's Assam and in protected areas in the Terai of Nepal, where populations are confined to the riverine grasslands in the foothills of the Himalayas. The scientific name Rhinoceros unicornis is from Greek and Latin, and means, roughly, “one horn upon the nose.”
The unicorn.
Following is a very informative teaching on the existence of unicorns both in biblical and modern times.
So, Ivan Frishberg, you have essentially made the case in your email that believing in man-made global warming (let`s face it, that`s the real agenda here) is the same as denying the existence of unicorns. And yet, as you can clearly see, unicorns really do exist. So, by your very own logic, believing in the existence of real creatures (unicorns) is wrong and "sad."
How wrong and how sad indeed.
Frishberg goes on to claim that many scientists back the climate-change narrative. Yet, scientists were caught in climate-gate fudging the numbers and looking for a pay day. This sort of thing stinks of corruption so foul that even the least informed in the bourgeois class of poorly educated voters gets it. The fact is there are many scientists who debunked the global warming myth many times over. And since the Climate Campaign Manager for Obama himself is unaware that single-horned rhino's (unicorns) actually exist I think there is sufficient reason to believe the other camp on this one.
