THE COMING BLOOD MOONS

The scriptures declare that the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will be signaled by a BLOOD MOON. More on that later.A BLOOD MOON occurs during a lunar eclipse. The moon is sometimes called a “blood moon” since the moon often takes on a bloody color.
NASA’s eclipse website provides precision tracking of the celestial events.A search of that website will reveal a rare phenomenon of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad.
During this century, tetrads occur at least six times, but what’s interesting is that the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincide with God’s holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn’s Feast of Tabernacles (also called Succoth) occurs between 2014 and 2015 on today’s Gregorian calendar.
The fact that it doesn’t happen again in this century is significant because the last time that four blood red moons occurred together was in 1967 and 1968 tied to Jerusalem being recaptured by Israel.
It is a fact that humanity has experienced blood-red moons on the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkot (Feast of Booths or Tabernacles) on back-to-back years seven times since 1 A.D.
Three of these occurrences were connected to 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) — some of the most significant days in Jewish history.
The others were in 162/163 A.D., 795/796 A.D., 842/843 A.D. and 860/861 A.D. In all eight examples, the eclipses have fallen or will fall on the first day of Passover and Sukkot.
The eighth occurrence of back-to-back, blood-red moons will be in 2014–2015.So what does the period of time from 2013 to 2015 portend for Israel and the world?
Scripture seems to give us a hint that on the Day of the Lord (God's wrath being poured out in the very last days) and at the return of Jesus Christ - will be marked by a blood-moon thus causing the moon to not "give its light." As it is a fact that 2014-2015 brings blood red moons on Passover and Tabernacles - many students of prophecy are speculating some ominous biblical occurances very soon, perhaps even the return of Jesus Christ.
Of further interest is the fact that many students of prophecy expect the Lord to return on the Feast of Tabernacles since that feast symbolizes the people of God "resting" and "living" with the Lord. It is also significant to note that in the 2014 -2015 cycle, the eighth cycle - some see the significance of this eight occurrence as being directly connected to the person of Jesus Christ.

Matt 24:29-30
29 "Immediately after the distress of those days "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' 30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
Acts 2:19-21
19 I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great
and glorious day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:31)
