    You really need to learn some Latin. That's not even close to what that means. "Lucifer" is the Latin name for the morning star ("the light bringer"). The actual translation of that part of The Exultet is:

    "May the Morning Star which never sets find this flame still burning: Christ, Your Son."

      Wish I could like your comment x100. Lucifer has always meant light bringer. Didn't Christ say, I am the way, the truth, and the light? Who else but God brought the light?
