The New Covenant Explodes in Israel!
In Jeremiah 31:31-34, we stand on one of the greatest mountain peaks in the Old Testament. It is the only reference to a "New Covenant" in the Old Testament, and is no doubt the most significant of Jeremiah's prophecies. The LORD God will write His law on the heart of the individual. It has been observed by many scholars that this is one of the most important passages in Jeremiah and contains "one of the deepest insights in the whole Old Testament."
This passage finds its fulfillment only in the true believer in Yeshua and His covenant with sinful man. It's very sad Jews who are not believers do not know that the New Covenant is in the Old Testament. The Rabbis have done everything to teach that we cannot understand the Bible without Rabbinic interpretations.
We, Messiah of Israel Ministries' team, were praying for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and went to Jerusalem to proclaim this Mighty Message.
Glazer: New Covenant is blasphemy.
Hosea 4:6 -
"My people perish from a lack of knowledge."
Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat was crying for the salvation of Israel:
"The people must be told the truth, understand how much God love them and what He did for them on the cross (Tree)." It was clear that no matter what, The New Convent needed to be presented to the people of Israel.
When Zev noticed there was an Orthodox Jew named Glazer with his son passing by him. Zev approached Glazer: "Shalom, my name is Zev. May I ask you something?" Glazer said: "Of course." Zev then asked: "Do you know that the New Covenant is in the Jewish Bible? Glazer was puzzled and said: "That's impossible. We Jewish people do not believe this. It's blasphemy." Zev then calmly said to him: "Let's read the Jewish Bible together." Glazer refused but his son said: "Father, why don't you want to read the Bible." Glory to the King Yeshua. He agreed to read this in Hebrew as his son was listening.
Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat with Glazer and his son in the Word
Praise Yeshua. He agreed to read this in Hebrew as his son was listening.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 -
31 "The days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them," declares the Lord.
33 "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the Lord. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the Lord. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
After reading, Glazer was shocked. Zev felt Glazer was opened to continue to hear. Zev then told him: "God loves you so much and is so happy that you go to Jerusalem for prayer, but He wants your heart, not religion. He sent His Son died for us and rose on the third day so you and I, and everyone, can have forgiveness through His Son, the Messiah if we repent our sins, believe and trust in Him. There is nothing we can do to earn Salvation, only through the Messiah's Grace. Glazer said: "I've been in a Yeshiva over 20 years and the Rabbi never spoke about this. How is this possible? "I know it's a lot to grasp," replied Zev, "Unfortunately, most Rabbis don't read or teach the Word of God. I pray you will show this to many, including your Rabbi. It is the most Jewish Covenant and Message." Glazer was getting worried that someone would see him. Glazer told Zev that he had to leave. Zev gave Glazer contact information for follow up. Please pray for Galzer's Salvation.
Glazer in total shock
Zev continued to proclaim the New Covenant from the Old Testament with many in this very hot and beautiful day. Many people heard this important love Message. Praise Yeshua, many were amazed and wanted to hear more.
Please pray for all who heard the Gospel as seeds were planted. We will not stop preaching the Good News of Yeshua, the Messiah, no matter what, until "All Israel shall be saved." (Isaiah 45:17)
