Pastor Caspar's Commentaries - Welcome to 2020

Welcome to 2020, Let us continue to pray that we live our life so that it is glorifying to Christ. For we read in Matthew 5:16,"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

This new year and new decade may we stay in proper balance by going extreme in our faith and in everything that our Lord assigns to us as His ambassadors. So that we represent His Kingdom with supernatural peace, agape love and holiness in our hearts.

Let us be extreme in worshiping Christ our Lord, in praising Him, in giving of our talents and resources unto the Lord, in taking control of our thought life and thinking holy thoughts by putting on the mind of Christ. Let us always think, do and act in His agape love that we shine brightly in the dark fallen world. Let us also therefore be extreme in believing and receiving in His Holy Word so that signs and wonders and miracles follow us as we follow after the Lord Jesus/Yeshua by denying ourselves daily and picking up our crosses as he has instructed us to do. Let us be extreme in believing him at His Word and not allow the kingdom of darkness to interfere by listening to any of those unclean spirits of doubt and unbelief that come to speak with us as if they are our very thoughts.

In 2014 I attended a New Years Eve meeting to listen to Reinhard Bonnke who passed away recently. I recall as soon as he walked onto the platform and stood before the large gathering I felt the atmosphere in the room completely change. There was a tangible presence of the Holy Spirit there overtaking the place.

The late Evangelist Bonnke shared in humbleness how the Lord gave him a vision for Africa many years ago, at a time when he was seeing very little fruit from all his efforts to help lead people into salvation. Evangelist Bonnke spoke wonderful encouraging words throughout his message and gave biblical insights in how he has seen over 75 million people in Africa become born again Christians, with many healing miracle as well, as he continued to follow the instructions of the Lord. The Holy Spirit had him move him to America a few years back and in this particular meeting he boldly proclaimed, "America shall be saved," to which he received a standing ovation.

At that moment I considered that when most people accept Christ's gift of salvation they are usually in a difficult place in their personal life. They realise they have made mistakes and sinned before the only one who can truly help right their wrongs.

I pray Evangelist Bonnke's vision will come to fruition and America shall be saved, even if it goes through difficult times. Considering eternity is forever.
We read in 2 Chronicles 7:14 ,"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

The Lord Jesus/Yeshua said in John 10:27," My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
