CHURCH ASSEMBLY DECISIONS DUE TO WUHAN VIRUS

by Rev. Joda Collins
Every pastor and/or church leadership group has to make decisions about church services. Those decisions are hard to make for a lot of reasons. Some churches are closed. Some adjust seating so people are seated further apart from one another. There are various ways churches are handling the Wuhan Virus. There are some hard and cold facts. The first is that decisions have to be made. Second, no matter what decision is made, there is no such thing as a 100% good or a 100% bad decision.

Every decision has positive and negative consequences. That is not only true for decisions related to the Wuhan Virus, but that is true for every decision in life. Given the fact that you are more likely to get and die from the flu than from the Wuhan Virus, before you go out during this flu season, you should think twice! You are likely to come in contact with hard surfaces recently touched, coughed on or sneezed on by someone with any one of the 100 or so strains of flu. If you are in an enclosed building you will be breathing the same air that is circulated by the building's air conditioning / heat system that was breathed and exhaled in to by someone with the flu, even if that person has long exited the building. Before you venture outside of your home, you better think twice or three times for a lot of reasons.
Before you eat food from a restaurant, you better think twice. Someone of the many in that restaurant that have handled and breathed on your food may have the
early stages of the flu, full-blown flu or walking-pneumonia. The rise in flu and the rise in Wuhan infections is sure. That is the nature of the flu and every virus during the flu season. Thousands are infected with Wuhan and millions infected with the flu. Some will die. Millions are infected with the flu and millions more will be. Some will die. Before you buy food from a supermarket you should think twice. Food does not package itself! People with all kinds of diseases handle it and breath on it before you touch the package. Last Saturday, in my business, I spent 4.5 hours with a man with HIV.
When your wife, husband or child returns home from anywhere, he or she is carrying on his or her clothing and body the spores of sickness contracted from wherever they have been. It would be wise to put a detoxification room in your foyer, make your family members take off their clothing and take a detox shower before entering the inner-sanctuary of your home. You could get sick from them and you could die.
You better think twice about having a pet. Pets often carry the germ of human illnesses without becoming sick. Never let your kids go to a school where students
are seated within a few inches of each other all day long. You need to buy a vehicle where you can be seated at least six feet away from any other person and keep all windows rolled down so you can breath that fresh carbon monoxide exhaust from all the vehicle around you.
Walk around with alcohol wipes at the ready and never touch anything that you do not disinfect first. Lock yourself in your home where the average air is 500 times more toxic than being outside. Get rid of your home carpet because it traps cotangents.
You better be very, very careful. You are about to die 24/7. Panic is the only real solution.
Think about this. There was a wave of protests against the dictator of China in December and January. Chinese officials issued a warning that there is a virus
that will kill you if you do not get off the streets and isolate yourselves to your homes. Protests ended. The Chinese government's immediate problem was solved.
The Democrats of the USA have long yearned for some kind of national financial disaster so they can blame President Trump, get a Democrat elected President and turn America in to a Communist-Socialist nation. They see what they were hoping for (your financial ruin) in the Wuhan Virus.
One-world order freaks want something so scary that everyone is looking to the government to save them. The Wuhan Virus is made to order (no pun intended).
The political world is ripe for something just exactly like the Wuhan Virus and as long as the power and money hungry among us can get power and money from this virus, they will and no scare tactic or amount of lies is too much for them. Once this virus is placed in the catalog with all of the other thousand of things that can kill us every day and accepted as the norm, the power and money hungry will find something else to use for their personal, financial and political gain. Wash your hands, keep your hands off your face, stay home if you are sick or there is no good reason to go out, stay away from sick people as much as you can, just like you have always done with every new sickness that has come our way, and live your life. If you are not ready to meet your Maker, get ready. You are going to die!

Now, back to the major reason for this article. Whatever decision your pastor and/or your church leaders make, that is their business --- not yours. If your
church is closed and you do not like that decision, find a church that is still meeting and go there until your church reopens. If your church is still meeting and you do not like that decision, stay home. Problem solved. However, do NOT get mad if your pastor or church leaders make a decision that you would not make. Continue your financial and prayer support of your church. Be a decent Christian. Do what you can in ministry. Pray. Be an adult. Do not react like a child and throw a fit or quit your church. No matter what decision a pastor or church leadership body makes, 25% to 50% of the church membership will disagree. Have some mercy and compassion on the poor soul or souls that have to make the hard decisions until God informs you that you are the world's standard for making the best decisions. Bottom line, act like a grown-up.
