Pastor Caspar's Commentaries - Temptations

James 1:12 - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Today many people who see the handwriting on the wall are fearful to speak out as they see how those gathering together in positions of power are able to hinder them and cause them a great deal of grief. Nevertheless, the Lord God Almighty has issued this warning to those who know to do good and are not sharing about what they see approaching. We read in places like Ezekiel 33:6 - But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
A spirit of fear always projects into the future and it then robs you of your supernatural peace and that could be the block hindering your life, relationship, healing, health, or whatsoever. How can you receive something from the Lord God when you don't really believe Him for it? When you allow yourself to become double minded, you just basically canceled out your prayers. James 1:8," A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways."
Let us stand firm in our understanding of the Gospel and not fear the future. Taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ all 30.000 to 70.000 of them a day. Generally, as you practise taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ you start realising there are about several thoughts going on within you that you are conscious of, or that you have become aware of now that I mention it to you. Often as you focus on those other thoughts which could be 4 to 7 more thoughts that are actively floating around your mind, one or more of them are probably attached to some poisonous thought processes. So one thing we can do here offer up prayers and ask the Lord Jesus/Yeshua to help us begin focusing in on just one of those poisonous thoughts at a time and taking it before the throne of the Lord's mercy, grace, and love. Dealing with that spirit of bitterness, hurt, resentment, or deep disappointment. Setting the goal of understanding what that poisonous thought is actually doing to your life so you refuse to continue allowing it to access you. If it is a poisonous thought like the spirit of fear and you understand it's not healthy for you to dwell in it because it goes contrary to the Holy Word of God which be a sin, you can repent before the Lord and not go there again. You get to choose which thoughts you want to follow moment by moment, day after day. We can always choose to believe the Word of God over anything else even feelings and emotions. Because feelings change all day long with what you are thinking.
Prayerfully ask the Lord for a revelation about how and what you need to change seems a jolly good idea, considering we read in places like, Matthew 7:7," Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"
It is with your mind you try to understand what the Lord is showing you and it is also with your mind that you understand His Holy Word. Let us practise to obey Christ in all things. In other words, we are to even go beyond our feelings to where you really connect with the Holy Spirit in our soul. Praying in the Holy Ghost certainly is a way to connect on this level and bring you into a place of worship and I reckon being in a place of worship is being in a place where miracles may happen. For we read in places like Jude 1:20, "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost," Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Jesus said in Luke 21:15, "For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.' I say hallelujah! Because "All", things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision, and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
