Gunman shoots up Toronto mall - people defenseless because of handgun ban

A gunman fired shots in a crowded food court in one of Canada's busiest malls killing a man and injuring eight others, police said.

A 25-year-old man was shot dead and two people were in critical condition, including a 13-year-old boy, after the shooting at the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto, said Victor Kwong, police constable.

Two people were trampled on and pushed, including a pregnant woman who went into labor after she was pushed, Kwong said. The suspect had not been apprehended, he said.

In a society where hand guns are banned the people are defenseless against these kinds of assaults. People end up trampled and emotionally scarred for life because of this sort of thing.

Canada needs to abandon their illogical gun laws and allow the law-keepers to defend themselves against the law-breakers. In states where people are allowed to carry guns the outcomes in these types of situations are quite different. People are more hesitant to draw on a crowd when they know it will result their own death.

Wake up Canada.

Canada taps in to biblical formula for prosperity

In spite of wide open governmental acceptance of liberal tenets like unregulated abortion (the price of which is unprecedented rates of breast cancer) and same-sex marriage Canada remains one of the world's most prosperous nations.

A great deal of research has gone into studying the connection between national prosperity and support for Israel. It has been heavily documented (see video below) that whenever the US favors the enemies of Israel there have been natural disasters which follow.

Now a Canadian pro-family leader is praising the Canadian foreign minister for taking a strong stand in support of Israel.

Recently The Globe and Mail reported that in a speech promoting Ottawa's plan to open an Office of Religious Freedom, Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird told a U.S. audience that Canada is taking a stronger stand on defending human rights like religious freedom.

Baird's speech dealt most extensively with the persecution of Jews and Christians. He spoke of the organized massacre of Jews during the Spanish Inquisition, and the six million who died in the 1930s and 1940s because of their religious identity. Baird said the world cannot risk appeasing "Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran now, the same way the world appeased the Nazis."

Under the leadership of Conservative PM Stephen Harper Canada has evolved into Israel's greatest ally and has openly declared, without stipulation, her support for Israel. Whether they know it or not, Canada has employed the biblical formula for national prosperity.

¶Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

CBC Job and Programming Cuts a Good Start

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has been forced to cut - that's right, cut - 115 million dollars and 650 jobs. From their website:

"CBC/Radio-Canada will eliminate hundreds of jobs, cancel some programs and boost ads as part of cost-cutting measures to cope with planned budget cuts outlined in the recent federal budget, the public broadcaster announced Wednesday.

We've made "gut-wrenching choices," CBC president and CEO Hubert T. Lacroix said during a townhall meeting for CBC employees.

Lacroix said the Corporation expects to eliminate 650 jobs over three years, including 475 this fiscal year. He said 60 per cent of the budget goes toward salary and that it would be impossible to take a hit of this magnitude and not affect jobs. Nearly 10,000 people are currently employed full time at the CBC"

On behalf of Canadians everywhere I say: not a bad start but let's just finish the job once and for all. Really now - The CBC has always been a breeding ground for liberal smut and hard-core stupidity bordering on child-abuse. Forcing the pseudo-science of anthropogenic global warming and goo-to-you via the zoo evolution hoaxes down the gullets of Canadians has gone far enough.

With a budget of over a billion dollars a year we could do a lot of good - like cut waiting lists to see specialists or purchase sorely needed diagnostic equipment. But no. Instead we pay the likes of Jian Gomeshi and Anna Maria Tremonti union wages to indoctrinate yet another generation into the mental disorder that is Liberalism.

It's time for the CBC to sink or swim. Defund that abomination now. The facts of life are conservative.

Canadian Government Buying JAPANESE Snowmobiles

Recently a Canadian military convoy was filmed hauling snowmobiles near Barrie Ontario. The newsworthy aspect of the video was the footage of the mudflaps which clearly indicated the machines were made by Yamaha; a Japanese company.

Some people reading this may suppose it's not that big a deal or this article is a mountain being made out of a molehill but please understand - if Canada is known for anything - it's WINTER!

Bombardier is a truly Canadian Company specializing in equipment tailor made for Canadian climates and produce the finest snowmobiles on the planet - the SKI-DOO!

In 1994 the company produced the first snowmobile equipped specifically for mountain riding, the Ski-Doo Summit. Ski-Doo snowmobiles have consistently been extremely competitive for performance and in the marketplace up to the current day, taking a number of national titles in racing events from Sno-X to hill-climbing. In 1999 Ski-doo introduced the ZX aluminum chassis which was lighter weight with better suspension and thus very successful in Sno-cross competition. In 2003 Ski-doo introduced rider-forward REV chassis, which changed the sport and was followed by other manufacturers. In 2008 Ski-doo introduced the XP chassis, which moved the rider further forward with major weight reduction. The XP was the lightest machine available, with power-to-weight ratios in the Summit models for the first time under 3 lb per HP.

This article is not an ad for Bombardier but rather a lament that the Canadian government had neither the pride nor dignity to use it's snowmobile budget for Canadian-made Snowmobiles. Surely Bombardier could have closely matched any offer from the Japanese. Local sourcing has taken a back seat to globalism. In this regard - shame on Canada. What will it be next? Poutine?

Herman Cain supports UNREGULATED abortion in US!

REAL CLEAR POLITICS

Herman Cain expresses his personal views on abortion, but says his opinion is not a "directive on the nation." - "The government shouldn't be telling people what to do, especially when it comes to social decisions that they need to make," Cain said."I respect their right to make that choice. I don't have to agree with it."

So essentially Herman Cain, a so-called "conservative" has decided that people should be permitted, without government intervention, to murder their babies. This is absolute insanity. To suggest that government has no say in the preservation of life at all suggests that women have complete say-so on when their unborn baby gets killed and how often that should happen. When did the "right to life" section of the American dream get erased from the American conscience? When did unregulated abortion become a conservative platform? When will Herman Cain be denounced as a conservative?

See original article with video here.

Canada has unregulated abortion. In that country they abort 30% of their conceived population every year as a result. Additionally Canada discovers 500 new cases of breast cancer every week. The link between breast cancer and abortion is known.

Canadian Money going Polymer

The look and feel of Canadian Money is changing. Starting mid-November 2011, the Bank of Canada will introduce polymer-based bank notes into circulation beginning with the $100 bill. The new $50 bill will be introduced in March 2012 and the remaining denominations will be issued by the end of 2013.

Polymer bank notes are printed on a smooth, durable film. There are over 30 countries that currently print some or all of their denominations on polymer, including Australia, Mexico, and Romania.

Canada's new polymer bank notes are:

Secure: Their leading-edge security features are easy to verify and hard to counterfeit.
Durable: They are expected to last at least 2.5 times longer in circulation before wearing out and needing to be replaced. As a result, fewer notes will be printed in future years.
Innovative: The notes will be the most advanced ever issued in Canada and among the most secure in the world.
Better for the environment: Polymer notes will have a lower impact on the environment than notes in a cotton-paper-based series and will be recycled.

SLAUGHTER IN CANADA - Abortion unregulated up to delivery

Breast cancer continues to be the most common cancer among women in Canada. In 2010 an estimated 23,200 women in Canada were diagnosed with breast cancer. That is an increase of 500 from 2009.

On average 445 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer every week. Every week. One in nine Canadian women is expected to develop breast cancer during her lifetime. All of these statistics are available at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation here.

Here are some more statistics:
"The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons believes that patients have the right to give or withhold fully informed consent before undergoing medical treatment. This includes notification of potential adverse effects. While there is a difference of medical opinion concerning the abortion breast cancer link, there is a considerable volume of evidence supporting this link, which is, moreover, highly plausible. We believe that a reasonable person would want to be informed of the existence of this evidence before making her decision." - Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
A list of medical organizations recognizing a link between abortion and breast cancer is provided here.

So why is this so important as it relates to Canada? Early in Canadian history all abortions were illegal. Under ultra-liberal Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau abortion was decriminalized in 1968 as long as a committee of doctors signed off. In 1988 the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that existing laws were unconstitutional. And since then Canada has had no laws governing the subject. None.

Canada currently has no laws governing abortion. A woman in Canada can legally kill her unborn child at any time during the pregnancy as often as she wants - even on the delivery table. She can simply change her mind.

Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
