PPSIMMONS Slams Atheist Site Rationalwiki on Erroneous Posting

Rationalwiki, an atheist information website designed to be a storehouse providing users with material to refute religious arguments, has a page dedicated to PPSIMMONS. The information contained on this page is so stupendously wrong that it simply could not go unanswered. Here is our response. We are simply going to quote their points about PPSIMMONS and then correct them with the proper information. Following that we will detail why we felt this was important to do. Here goes.

This is the very first sentence: "PPSIMMONS, whose real name is Pastor Carl Gallups"

Our response: Wrong! PPSIMMONS is a moniker. There is not a single person who makes up the PPSIMMONS ministry. Carl Gallups is a major contributor who lends his voice to the videos and does much of the work on Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic studies but he is not PPSIMMONS. We have people working with this ministry from around the world.

Next erroneous point: "He believes in Satan and fears witchcraft."

Our response: Wrong! Neither Carl Gallups nor anyone else at the ministry fears witchcraft. We fear exactly nothing. In fact it could be more accurately stated that witchcraft fears us. When we walk into a room the witches tremble. We have no reason to fear witches because witchcraft must bow to the infinitely more powerful Holy spirit of God who lives in us.

Next: "often calls Obama the anti-Christ"

Our response: Wrong! We have never called Obama the Antichrist. Our video titled "Who is PPSIMMONS" explicitly states that the PPSIMMONS ministry has never said that Obama is the Antichrist. We present the evidence and leave it up to the viewer to decide.

Next: "and believes that global warming is a hoax"

Our response: Wrong! The globe warms and cools in predictable, regular cycles we like to call "seasons". We do, however, believe that anthropogenic global warming (man made) is unproven science and appears to be a profit-driven scam.

Next: "censors and blocks people for simply disagreeing with him"

Our response: Wrong! We block people for foul language, rudeness, and disrespect; not toward us only but toward others also. The atheist community has morphed into a disrespectful and foul society - especially on youtube which is why we will quite often be forced into simply shutting down comments all together. We have over 300 videos, many of which still have the comment sections wide open and with many respectful comments which just happen to disagree with us.

Next: "All negative comments, criticisms, and corrections are erased as if they never existed"

Response: Wrong! Again - we only remove comments or block people for rudeness, foul language, or disrespect - all common traits among youtube atheists.

Next: "giving Gallups the appearance of being smart"

Response: Carl Gallups is very smart but that fact is irrelevant. He is but a piece to a larger puzzle. There are many intelligent people involved in this ministry.

Next: "refuses to allow video responses"

Response: Wrong! An actual visit to the many videos we have will refute that entirely. We do however disallow responses which contain foul language so if one is not permitted that is the most likely reason. If all atheist video responses are disallowed it can only be the result of failing to meet the language requirements.

Next: " He thinks evolution made women weaker and targets for abuse"

Response: Wrong! Since we do not have any reason to believe in microbe-to-man evolution we could not possibly believe that it has any consequences affecting anyone. Having said that, however, it would be accurate to say that the theory of evolution demands that women be oppressed by men since men are physically stronger and in many cases emotionally stronger and from a purely natural perspective men can and would rule the women, use them for breeding and pleasure, and force their submission. The Bible does not support this and quite honestly neither do most women.

Next: "Christianity has suppressed women and their rights for centuries"

Response: Wrong! Jesus was the great liberator of women. Paul the Apostle said the following on behalf of women in Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. There have been men throughout history who have wrongfully abused women in the name of God but Christianity does not support it in any way shape or form.

Well that about sums it up. But why go through all this trouble? Why bother? The reason we saw this as important is because it exemplifies the greater problem with evolution teaching and atheism as a whole with its many tenets. This rationalwiki article was so full of errors that it simply begs the question - if they are so wrong on such a simple matter (simple because the truth was so easily accessible) then how much less should they be trusted on issues that really matter? By that we mean issues of eternal consequence like eternal life, transcendental realities, and salvation. If they could not get the identity of PPSIMMONS right, how could they ever get the truth about God right? Answer: they cannot. They are living in a delusion: the most closed-minded philosophical delusion facing our time.
