Rick Warren's Response to Criticism CONFIRMS THE CRITICISM

A few people were concerned about our recent article on Rick Warren and his ties to Islam, the CFR, the Bilderbergs et al. Some even received a response from a member of Warren's church - Saddleback. It was a personal letter from Rick dated Mar 2 to his staff... and we have a copy of it.

In it, Warren defends himself by pasting the transcript to an interview he participated in with Brandon A. Cox & Christian Post. In it he says what he guesses will be all the right christianese answers - love, respect, bring people to Jesus - the typical jargon. Yet near the middle of the interview he drops a stunner that was completely ignored by the interviewer.

QUESTION: Why do you think people who call themselves Christians sometimes say the most hateful things about Muslims?

What "hateful" things could he possibly be referring to? That unless they repent they will burn for eternity in a lake of fire? No wait - that was Jesus. Could it be that we say things like - the vast, vast majority of terrorist acts done in the world are done in the name of Allah? What "hateful" things could the interviewer be talking about? Nonetheless read Warren's response to the question:

WARREN: Well, some of those folks probably aren’t really Christians. 1 John 4:20 says, “If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.” And 1 John 2:9 says “Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.” I am not allowed by Jesus to hate anyone. Our culture has accepted two huge lies: The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear them or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.

That is amazing! Not "really" Christian? The rest of his answer completely boggles the mind. Without any ambiguity whatsoever Warren declares Muslims to be our brothers. He has actually confirmed the entire body of criticism against him within a single paragraph.

Please read our in-depth coverage of Warren including video footage of his entire ISNA speech here.

  1. Some weeks back I asked about Rick Warren's membership in the CFR on Twitter. I only asked, nothing more. I was immediately answered with a very abusive tweet from Dave Ramsey, the leader of another "Christian" organization. Many in the "so-called" Church, have drunk the kool-aid.
