Winston Churchill on Islam
The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan (Islamic) law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.
No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism (Islam) is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."

Terry Jones Goes to Washington - to PROTEST!
Stand Up America Now with Dr Terry Jones will Protest in Washington DC in front of the White House on June 9
Stand Up America Now will protest concerning the Obama Administration’s handling of Islam.
They will be demonstrating against the lack of information that the US government gives to the American people concerning the dangers of Islam, against the untrue justification of Islam to the American people, and against statements President Obama has made about Islam which are lies, for example, “Islam has a long history of tolerance”.
They will use the Koran in a "physical way" to illustrate and emphasize their disgust for the way government is hiding and appeasing the dangerous, violent religion, that is Islam.
Also at the end of this demonstration, they will be praying for the nation. They "refuse" to recognize the government’s law that bans U.S. citizens from praying in front of the White House. This is a free country, even money is printed with the statement, “In God We Trust”. Thomas Jefferson said, “When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes mandatory.”
They invite every American to come and join them on June 9, 2012

Rick Warren - Where He Went Wrong - Why it Matters
This brings us to the difference between the Jesus spoken of in the Q’uran and the Jesus plainly taught in the Bible. And this also brings us to how Rick Warren found himself and his faith coming unglued and derailed. They are two different persons. Like the difference between the Jesus (hayzus) who tends bar in Mexico city (Jesus being a popular name in Mexico) and Jesus of Nazareth (Jeshua Messiah). But why, again, is this so grave a matter? Simply put, unless we believe that Jesus is who He SAID he was, we will die in our sins!

BIBLE: Allah of Q'uran "Father of Lies"
So according to the Q'uran lying is acceptable and it could be that even Obama himself is practicing it on a large scale. But the Bible is crystal clear on this. In fact it gives us a name; the one who originated and who is the "father" of all lies.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.The Bible gives no room for lies or liars. Yet the Q'uran seems to indicate that Allah turns a blind eye to lying as long as it promotes his kingdom purposes. The only conclusion is an obvious one. If we conflate what we know about the two narratives we can safely come up with this: the God of the Bible declares that all lies come from Satan. The Q'uran declares that some lies are acceptable. Therefore the author - the one who inspired the Q'uran is at the very least a liar and at worst the "father of lies".

Q&A: Shalit capture
Who are the Mid-East prisoners?
Five years in captivity
Israel and Hamas have agreed a deal for the release of Sgt Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier held hostage by Palestinian militants for five years.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the deal had been reached after arduous talks, and that Sgt Shalit would be back with his family "within days".
Israel is likely to release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in exchange.
Sgt Shalit was captured in a cross-border raid in 2006, and repeated attempts to free him have failed.
But Mr Netanyahu said in a national TV address: "We have concluded arduous negotiations with Hamas to release Gilad Shalit. He will be coming home in the next few days."
'Window of opportunity'
The militant group Hamas, which runs Gaza, said in a statement that there were tens of thousands of people on the streets celebrating the deal.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is hard to overstate how important the fate of Gilad Shalit is to Israel.
Almost every family in the country has a son or daughter serving in the military. Shalit's capture resonates with them all. He is probably the most recognisable figure in the country.
It is for that reason that the government is ready to swap him for - according to Hamas officials -1,000 Palestinians held in Israeli jails.
But after so many false dawns why now? The timing is important because Hamas has been on the back foot in recent months after Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas's attempt to get Palestinian membership at the UN gained huge support in the occupied territories.
This is their way of showing their more violent approach can also win results. What will be key politically for both sides is how many high-profile prisoners Israel has been ready to give up.
The group's leader Khaled Meshaal appeared on TV to hail the swap deal as a victory for the Palestinian people.
He promised to carry on working to free every Palestinian prisoner held in Israeli jails.
The BBC's Jon Donnison in Jerusalem says Sgt Shalit's family and the families of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails will not believe a deal has been done until their relatives are home.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz quoted an unnamed official in Mr Netanyahu's office as saying that "a brief window of opportunity has been opened" that could lead to Gilad Shalit's release.
The official added: "The window appeared following fears that collapsing Mid-East regimes and the rise of extremist forces would make Gilad Shalit's return impossible."
An Israeli source involved in the talks was quoted by Reuters news agency as saying that the deal called for 1,000 Palestinians prisoners to be freed in two stages.
The first involves the release of 450 for the soldier, with the remaining 550 to be freed later.
Some of the 5,000 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel have been convicted of serious crimes, but others are being held without charge.
Israel's Channel 2 TV reported that both sides had shown greater flexibility in recent talks.
Indirect talks over 25-year-old Sgt Shalit's release - being mediated by Egypt and Germany - had focused on prisoner exchanges.
In October 2009, Hamas released a video of the soldier calling on Mr Netanyahu to do everything to free him.

DAN 9:27 WATCH - Panetta Warns Israel Is Getting More Isolated, Says Negotiations With Palestinians Must Restart
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned Sunday that Israel is becoming increasingly isolated in the Middle East, and said Israeli leaders must restart negotiations with the Palestinians and work to restore relations with Egypt and Turkey.
In a blunt assessment made as he was traveling to Israel, Panetta said the ongoing upheaval in the Middle East makes it critical for the Israelis to find ways to communicate with other nations in the region in order to have stability.
"There's not much question in my mind that they maintain that (military) edge," Panetta told reporters traveling with him. "But the question you have to ask: Is it enough to maintain a military edge if you're isolating yourself in the diplomatic arena? Real security can only be achieved by both a strong diplomatic effort as well as a strong effort to project your military strength."
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak says Israel has a responsibility to try and ease tensions in the region and find a way to resume negotiations with the Palestinians.
Standing next to Barak, Panetta said now is the time for bold action by both the Israelis and Palestinians to move toward a negotiated two-state solution. He says there's no alternative to negotiations.
Panetta met Monday with Barak in Tel Aviv on the first leg of a Middle East trip that also includes meetings with Palestinian leaders, and a stop in Egypt to meet with top officials there.
Panetta is scheduled to meet this week with Israeli and Palestinian leaders, and then travel to a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels. His visit comes as Mideast negotiators push for a peace deal by the end of next year, amping up pressure for the resumption of long-stalled talks.
The Pentagon chief said Israel risks eroding its own security if it does not reach out to its neighbors.
"It's pretty clear that at this dramatic time in the Middle East, when there have been so many changes, that it is not a good situation for Israel to become increasingly isolated. And that's what's happening," he said.
Panetta said the most important thing now is for Israel and its neighbors "to try to develop better relationships so in the very least they can communicate with each other rather than taking these issues to the streets."
His visit comes at a particularly critical and fragile time.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has asked the U.N. Security Council to recognize an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank, east Jerusalem and Gaza Strip, areas captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war. The United States opposed the U.N. bid, saying there is no substitute for direct peace negotiations. But with Israel continuing to build settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, Abbas says there is no point in talking.
Some 500,000 Jewish settlers now live in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.
The United States, Britain, France and other council members are likely to try to hold up consideration of the application while they press for a resumption of long-stalled Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, diplomats said.
Negotiators, known as the Quartet, are asking both the Israelis and the Palestinians to produce comprehensive proposals on territory and security within three months.
Israeli officials have welcomed parts of the proposal, but have also expressed concerns about the timetable for some discussions. They also have refused to endorse the 1967 prewar borders as a basis for the future Palestinian state -- something President Barack Obama has endorsed.
The Palestinians, meanwhile, have said they won't return to talks unless Israel freezes settlement building and accepts the pre-1967 war frontier as a baseline for talks.
The Quartet -- the U.S., European Union, United Nations and Russia -- is urging both sides to avoid "provocative actions." Just last week, Israel approved the construction of 1,100 new housing units in an area of Jerusalem built on land captured in 1967, a move that drew widespread international condemnation.
Panetta said he wants to stress to both sides that instead of setting conditions or pursuing other approaches, "the most important thing they can do is go to the negotiating table. That would be a tremendous signal to the world that both the Israelis and the Palestinians want to try to find a solution to these problems. I don't think they really lose anything by getting into negotiations."
Panetta is scheduled to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
His visit to Israel comes six months after his predecessor, Robert Gates, traveled to the region to meet with Israeli leaders and make the first journey to the West Bank to talk with Fayyad.
The U.S. has said it would veto the Palestinians' U.N. request, despite the high political cost in the Arab world. However, Washington would not need to use its veto if the Palestinians fail to get the support of at least nine of 15 council members. Palestinian officials have said they believe they have eight yes votes, and are lobbying for more support.
Iranian Christian to be executed for being a 'Zionist'
Nadarkhani was arrested and convicted in 2010. Legal documents obtained by CNN accused Nadarkhani of "turning his back on Islam, the greatest religion..."
In Iran, the punishment for apostacy is death.
But with pressure mounting for Iran to cease its brutal repression of religious freedom, Gholomali Rezvani, the deputy governor of Nadarkhani's home province, announced that the charges had been changed.
"His crime is not, as some claim, converting others to Christianity. He is guilty of security-related crimes," Rezvani told the Fars news agency.
And what kind of security-related crimes had Nadarkhani committed? He "is a Zionist," declared Rezvani. And just in case, Nadarkhani also had charges of rape and extortion tacked on to his rap sheet. Both CNN and Fox News later pointed out that the original 2010 court ruling did not contain one mention of rape or extortion.

Al Qaeda slams Iran for peddling 9/11 conspiracy theories
It's not often foreign leaders are chastised by al-Qaeda for going too far in their critique of the United States--but Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has somehow managed the trick. Ahmadinejad is already facing bruising attacks at home from conservative Iranian clerics and politicians on several fronts--and now al Qaeda representatives are assailing him for peddling conspiracy theories that deny the terrorist group's culpability for the Sept. 11 attacks.
According to the new issue of "Inspire" magazine--the English-language propaganda outlet put out by the group's Yemeni affiliate al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP)--Ahmadinejad insulted the terrorist group by renewing past conspiratorial claims about the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon during his speech before the United Nations last week.
"The mysterious September 11 incident" merits an investigation into possible "hidden elements involved" seeking a pretext for America's invasion of the Middle East, Ahmadinejad suggested in his Sept. 22 address to the world body--prompting an immediate walk-out by the United States and several European delegations.
And it seems that this was all a bit much for al Qaeda.
"The Iranian government has professed on the tongue of its president Ahmadinejad that it does not believe that al Qaeda was behind 9/11 but rather, the U.S. government," an article in Inspire's latest issue argued, according to ABC News' Lee Ferrin. "So we may ask the question: why would Iran ascribe to such a ridiculous belief that stands in the face of all logic and evidence?"
For Iran, "al Qaeda was a competitor for the hearts and minds of the disenfranchised Muslims around the world," the rant continued. "Al Qaeda... succeeded in what Iran couldn't. Therefore it was necessary for the Iranians to discredit 9/11 and what better way to do so? Conspiracy theories."
Iran is committed only to carrying out "lip-service jihad" against the United States, it added.
(Whether the Inspire article author is aware that his rant echoes a skit by the satirical media outfit "the Onion" in 2008 is unclear.)
Ahmadinejad's 9/11 conspiracy theories were hardly anything new--nor was the American and European walkout that they provoked. Indeed, both have becoming staples of recent years' annual gathering of world leaders for the UN General Assembly opening session.
So too has Ahmadinejad's flurry of media interviews on his New York trips.
In such a meeting with journalists following his UN address, the Iranian leader was more restrained--if not more conciliatory--as he sought to draw equivalences between the West's economic troubles and those of Iran, the target of international sanctions over its nuclear program. Ahmadinejad also responded to questions about his own reported domestic political problems with Iran's hardline parliamentarians, suggesting that the divided political scene in Tehran is not all so different from the partisan rancor faced by the American president in Washington.
The Iranian leader went on to press other supposed analogies between Iran and the West. When several journalists in attendance asked him about the treatment of Iranian political prisoners, human rights abuses and political repression, Ahmadinejad countered that violence involving law enforcement kills 30 Americans every week, and spoke of the independence of Iran's judicial system. And when another reporter queried him about Iran's alleged military and financial support for Bashar al-Assad's crackdown in Syria, Ahmadinejad denied playing such a role, going on to argue that the successful Arab rebellions in Egypt and Tunisia overturned autocrats long allied with the United States. And so on.
Some of America's "jobless, hopeless youth see no alternative but to join the armed forces," Ahmadinejad said. "We are not happy" when American soldiers die in Afghanistan and Iraq. "Why do they need to die in Afghanistan? . . . Some wish to accuse others. Yet they are ignoring their own fundamental role."
Whether Ahmadinejad will get many further opportunities to portray such narratives on the world stage is not as assured as it once perhaps seemed. The UN gathering in New York this year was missing several autocrats who had become perennial fixtures--Libya's Moammar Gadhafi, Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, and Tunisia's Ben Ali among them. And Ahmadinejad, currently in his second presidential term, is also a lame duck, as Iran is due to hold presidential elections in 2013.
World opinion swings back against Israel
Even when the Palestinian regime openly identifies itself as an impossible peace partner, it never takes long before the international community finds an excuse to again blame Israel for the lack of a peace agreement.
Earlier this week, the world was taken aback by Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' brash unilateral push for statehood at the UN. For a brief moment, the world sided with Israel as it pleaded in vain for Abbas to return to the negotiating table.
But already on Thursday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton returned to the familiar rhetoric, suggesting that the construction of a few apartments in Jewish neighborhoods of Jerusalem is what's really blocking peace.
"We believe that this morning's announcement by the government of Israel approving the construction of housing units in east Jerusalem is counter-productive to our efforts to resume direct negotiations between the parties," Clinton told reporters. "We have long urged both sides to avoid any kind of action which could undermine trust, including, and perhaps most particularly, in Jerusalem, any action that could be viewed as provocative by either side."
EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and British Foreign Secretary William Hague also condemned what they called "provocative settlement activity."
The three diplomats were referring to Israel's approval of the construction of 1,100 new apartments in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo, which is already home to tens of thousands of Jews. The Palestinians claim Gilo as part of their future state, as it lies on the side of Jerusalem that was illegally occupied by Jordan prior to 1967.
It is worth pointing out that while Clinton is quick to jump on Israel for building a few apartments, she has not been consistent in calling out the "kind of action which could undermine trust" when it comes to the Palestinians.
For instance, Palestinian police forces have been operating in eastern Jerusalem in violation of signed agreements for the past couple of years. The Palestinian Authority has also resumed political activity in Jerusalem, again in violation of signed agreements.
