Pestilence Watch! Chagas: no cure for new tropical disease

Chagas, a tropical disease spread by insects, is causing some fresh concern following an editorial—published earlier this week in a medical journal—that called it "the new AIDS of the Americas."

More than 8 million people have been infected by Chagas, most of them in Latin and Central America. But more than 300,000 live in the United States.

The editorial, published by the Public Library of Science's Neglected Tropical Diseases, said the spread of the disease is reminiscent of the early years of HIV.

"There are a number of striking similarities between people living with Chagas disease and people living with HIV/AIDS," the authors wrote, "particularly for those with HIV/AIDS who contracted the disease in the first two decades of the HIV/AIDS epidemic."

Liberty Versus Liberalism - Freedom Versus Atrocity

It really is time to stop playing games with this slimy, disease infested, gut-rot called liberalism. We at the PPSIMMONS enterprise have learned to not take things personally. If we did, the comments and personal emails sent to us by liberals and atheists would drive us insane. Yet this topic is very personal to us. Liberalism is a direct threat to our future and the future of our families and our friends. It is a direct threat to the future of liberty; a foundation on which the greatest of societies is built.

We are ashamed that so many of the people in the western world have lost the ability to discern the difference between liberty and liberalism; the difference between "anything goes" and freedom from bondage. The difference is stark and deal breaking. It will decide the future of modern civilization as we know it.

Liberalism. The word implies freedom, yes, but it is anything but. The dictionary defines it as an "unrestricted lifestyle. Specifically it says "unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor". Unrestricted. Now there's a loaded word. Yet essentially liberalism must be unrestricted. As soon as one implements any amount of restriction the person is invoking conservative values to the situation. Keep in mind that none of this is political alone. The dictionary says:

"a political or social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual, parliamentary systems of government, nonviolent modification of political, social, or economic institutions to assure unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor"

Therefore there is no limit to the application. Of course one can be liberal in any area of choosing and conservative or blase' in any other area but make no mistake, liberalism is a universally damnable application. It is a life lived without limits, without filters, and without any moral fiber. Remember that as soon as restriction of any kind is in place it is no longer liberalism since by restricting the behavior one is implementing conservative principles. Let's look at a couple of recent examples of the atrocity of liberalism.

In that interview with Oprah Winfrey, Whitney Houston mourns the death of Michael Jackson, in 2009. Houston, whose own substance abuse issues have long been documented, revealed to Winfrey that she had been doing drugs at the time of taping Michael Jackson's 30th Anniversary Celebration . She said she "was worried" for him -- and for herself. "Mike and I were very close," Houston said. "No one have I ever met [was] quite like that young man," she later added. "And to have it in like that saddens me."

"Was he a mirror for you," Winfrey asked Houston. "In some ways, yes," the diva replied. "I didn't want to go down that road.". Yet she did go down that road. The road of jettisoning the filters of conservatism and embracing the tenet of liberalism which always demands more from people than that they can afford to pay. It is a slow, agonizing suicide and the current climate of enablers is fanning the flames claiming one life after another.

In Houston's case it was partying and drugs which caused her to [likely] overdose yet society as a whole is committing suicide by liberalism en mass. A news story this week reveals the heinous results of liberalism which will devastate generations to come. Many news sources are reporting a disturbing public announcement from the Centers for Disease Control and other medical groups raising concerns about the spread of drug-resistant gonorrhea in in the world. Gonorrhea is primarily a sexually transmitted disease affects more than 700,000 Americans each year, according to estimates, and historically it has developed resistance to treatments. It built up immunity to sulfanilamide in the 1940s before evolving to resist penicillins and tetracyclines in the 1980s and fluoroquinolones by 2007.

For the past five years, the treatment options recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have been limited to third-generation cephalosporins.

But a study published Thursday in the New England Journal of Medicine warns that those drugs are becoming rapidly less effective in combating gonorrhea.

From 2006 to the first six months of 2011, the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) -- a measure of how much of an antibiotic is needed to stifle bacteria growth -- for an oral cephalosporin made a drastic jump from 0.1 percent in 2006 to 1.7 percent, the study said.

A lower MIC is an indication of a better antibiotic and CDC recommendations were changed in the past when that number exceeded five percent for previous gonorrhea antidotes. But the study said that as of now there are no alternative treatments to fight gonorrhea on the horizon.

Liberalism, when applied to sexuality, has given us this plague. Along with this there is CDC information available showing that AIDS is also primarily spread through men having sex with men, or liberalism cleverly disguised as love.

Liberty, on the other hand, is true freedom. It embraces the restrictions and filters which enable us to remain free from addiction, gonorrhea, and AIDS. The celibacy until marriage and faithfulness during marriage message is liberty, it is freedom, and it promises many things; one of which that it dramatically reduces the risk of all groups of sexually transmitted disease. This is the message to be taken seriously folks. One man, one woman, dress respectfully, be of sound mind, all that old-fashioned stuff that keeps people alive util a ripe old age.

One thing is for certain, this whole liberalism thing ain`t workin`. And it`s time to get ugly about this. It`s time to take the gloves off and realize this is not a game. This is not a topic of discussion anymore. Liberalism is a flat-out acceptance that the Bible is a lie and the Devil knows better than God. It`s not like we were without warning. We`ve known all along what sin is and what the consequences are. Yet the full-on embrace of unrestricted sinfulness we now call liberalism has been allowed to run rampant through the streets of America, Canada, and Europe. Now it`s time to pay the piper. Does George Michael have AIDS? (video)

Stories are circulating in a mad frenzy that George Michael has been hospitalized with pneumonia once again. A video has surfaced suggesting he may have aids.

The CDC reports the following on their MSM page. Remember that George Michael is a practicing homosexual.

BREAKING: Yasser Arafat Died of AIDS! - CLOSET HOMOSEXUAL

New autopsy details soon to be released by the French hospital where Yasser Arafat died in 2004 once again suggest that the former PLO leader and icon of the "Palestinian cause" was suffering from AIDS.

Arafat's family has agreed to make public the autopsy report, which describes a "platelet disorder," Arafat's nephew, Nasser al-Qidwa, told Bethlehem's Ma'an news agency at the weekend.

The doctors reportedly go on to speculate on the reason for the platelet disorder, ruling out cancer and acute infection.

Al-Qidwa, speaking at his uncle's graveside in Ramallah on Friday to mark the seventh anniversary of his passing, continued to insist that Arafat was poisoned by Israel.

But the autopsy report also points out that doctors were not able to find any trace of poison in Arafat's body, a fact that al-Qidwa begrudgingly acknowledged:

"We reaffirm our conviction that Israel was responsible for the poisoning of the late president Yasser Arafat, but we recognize our inability to get a definitive answer."

For those not sidetracked by political correctness, and who are willing to employ a little deductive reasoning, there is another alternative: AIDS.

The HIV virus that results in AIDS is well known to cause platelet disorders.

The Palestinians have vehemently rejected the AIDS option, as the condition is typically associated with a homosexual lifestyle.

But according to former eastern European intelligence officials, Arafat was, in fact, a closet homosexual.

In his book Red Horizons, former Romanian intelligence chief Lt.-Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa recounted how during visits to the regime of former Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu to obtain training and funds for his PLO forces, Arafat would engage in homosexual affairs with his bodyguards.

In one instance, Pacepa writes about checking in with Gen. Constantin Munteaunu, who was assigned to Arafat. Munteaunu reportedly responded:

"I just called the microphone monitoring center to ask about the 'Fedayee' [Arafat's code name]. After the meeting with the Comrade, he went directly to the guest house and had dinner. At this very moment, the 'Fedayee' is in his bedroom making love to his bodyguard. The one I knew was his latest lover. He's playing tiger again. The officer monitoring his microphones connected me live with the bedroom, and the squawling almost broke my eardrums. Arafat was roaring like a tiger, and his lover yelping like a hyena."

Later in the book Pacepa wrote that after learning all he had about the Palestinian leader through years of spying on him, "I felt a compulsion to take a shower whenever I had been kissed by Arafat, or even just shaken his hand."

In 2007, Ahmad Jibril, leader of the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, told Hizballah's Al-Manar TV that current Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas had admitted to him that Arafat died of AIDS.

"When [Abbas] came to Damascus with his team, I asked them: 'What happened to the investigation into the death of Abu Amar [Arafat's nom de guerre]? The Israelis killed him. He was my colleague ever since 1965 and used to sleep at my home. He and I followed the same path,'" Jibril said. "They were silent, and then one of them said to me: 'To be honest, the French gave us the medical report, that stated that the cause of Abu Ammar's death was AIDS.' I am not saying this, they did."

At the end of 2006, more than half (53%) of all people living with HIV in the United States were MSM or MSM-IDU. Since the beginning of the US epidemic, MSM have consistently represented the largest percentage of persons diagnosed with AIDS and persons with an AIDS diagnosis who have died.

Online Gamers prove that anyone can do science

Online gamers have achieved a feat beyond the realm of Second Life or Dungeons and Dragons: they have deciphered the structure of an enzyme of an AIDS-like virus that had thwarted scientists for a decade [here].

The word "Science" comes from the Latin word "scientia" which literally means "knowledge". On the most basic level, scientific "method" involves taking the science (knowledge) and using it to predict the future. We use the knowledge to predict outcomes. We know that "d" will happen because "a" plus "b" equals "c" for example (rather simplistic but you get the point).

So who owns the knowledge (science)? Well - you do! Most of today's "scientists" work for the government, that is, they get their funding through government grants, endowments, etc. Some of it is third party government funding through tax sheltered charities who in turn fund certain specialty scientific endeavors like medical research. There's nothing wrong with it per se' except that most people are unaware that they, the tax paying public, actually own the results since they are essentially paying for it.

So, since we own the science, we are free to interpret it as we see fit. Here's where many pseudo-scientists have left the reservation. There are many areas of intrigue which are being funded with your money but personal intrigue and bias and (dare we say it) religious philosophy (naturalism) are not science. They take the science and use it to further an agenda (atheism).

There are many, non-government funded groups of real scientists who actually DO follow the evidence where it leads. These scientists can be found at places like The Institute for Creation Research [here] and Creation Ministries International [here]. These groups of real scientists have actually demonstrated that the theory of pan-genus microbe-to-microbiologist evolution is literally impossible. They have demonstrated this fact - the philosophy of naturalism (modern atheism) is dead.

So we applaud those online gamers for taking the science and doing a little research of their own. They have shown that scientists are not gods worthy of elitist worship. Science is simply knowledge and that knowledge belongs to you, to me, to all of us. Don't be afraid to take it, at its basic level, without all the added nuance and sophistry which agenda-driven egomaniacs glue to the science in the hope that no one will notice - take it and discover the truth for yourselves. You might find that the term "God did it" is exactly where the real science will lead.

The Shameful Hypocrisy of the Homosexual Agenda

Naturalism comes in many forms. There are groups of Christians around the world, for example, who practice the form of naturalism known as nudism. It's the ritual act of conducting the affairs of the day completely in the nude; usually in secluded, designated areas. Personally, I agree with Mark Twain who said "Always wear clothing. Naked people have little or no effect on society". I want to focus in this article on the "philosophy" of naturalism. It's the mindset which predetermines that there's nothing in existence other than the natural. That which we experience with the five senses and exists naturally is the philosophy of naturalism and is, in fact, modern atheism. Most homosexual men (men will be the focus of this article) are either agnostic or atheist. Large numbers of homosexual men in N. America live their lives as atheists (without God). This is where the hypocrisy becomes evident because the vast majority of modern atheists believe in the ridiculous theory of macro evolution; a myth which is totally refuted by gametic isolation. The theory maintains that natural selection of the fittest prevails and proceeds to propel the species forward. If that's the case then why do male homosexual men wear condoms? According to the Center for Disease control, 68% of new aids cases last year were the result of MSM (men who have sex with men). That number would be dramatically worse for the MSM community if not for the use of condoms. That number is also up from 2005 by a full percentage point. Does anyone else see the blatant hypocrisy? If evolution is a bonafide process of naturalism then aren't gay men who use condoms doing harm to the process? Isn't nature trying to eradicate the biological abnormalities that violate natural order by doing things contrary to nature? It seems so; or at least Darwin would think so. A virus is trying to get rid of MSM. This would be a near reality if it wasn't for the invention of condoms and their proper use. So what's it going to be people? Atheism or homosexuality? Pick one already! As a Christian I believe and in fact know that God created humanity as a special creation; separate from the animal kingdom. Chromosome 2 was fused by creation and gives us evidence of our unique place in the earth. Homosexuality is a violation of created order. It harkens back to the old adage "just because you have a hammer doesn't mean you should treat everything like a nail". Male and female reproductive systems are designed to work in harmony; both for pleasure and reproduction. God created it thus and thus it will always be like it or not. I challenge all of the MSM out there to get serious about the past issues that drive your decisions about your sexuality before nature finally vomits you out as it will every one of us sooner or later. It is appointed unto every man once to die and then the judgment.
