Hard Core Atheists Have "Wishful Dreams"

Best selling author says that atheists are harder to pin down than "Jello to a wall."
 By Carl Gallups

On April 13 Yahoo news reported a story titled "The rise of atheism in America." It is listed as having been written by "The Week’s Editorial Staff."
The article begins with a two-pronged statement followed by a thought-provoking question. The editorial staff writes, "The number of disbelievers is growing, but they remain America's least trusted minority. Why?"
Let me begin with the first premise that the "number of disbelievers is growing." Actually, this article proves what the majority of collective worldwide statistics have been saying for decades, that is - the number of those who actually claim "there is no God" consistently remains at around the 2-4 percent level. In order to say that atheism is growing in America, another completely separate group of a growing phenomenon had to be included in their figures.
Observe the next sentence of the article, "How many atheists are there? It depends on your definition of the term. Only between 1.5 and 4 percent of Americans admit to so-called 'hard atheism,' the conviction that no higher power exists. But a much larger share of the American public (19 percent) spurns organized religion in favor of a nondefined skepticism about faith."
And here we observe another trick of the atheist movement: the movement's definition is really tough to identify - by their own admission. Here we see a bold and admitted example of that fact, "It depends on your definition of the term," the writer proclaims. Yes, it does depend upon definitions. Atheists are notorious for wanting to include anyone in their "club" who has the slightest disgruntlement with church or "organized religion." As a result of this desire, the definition of atheism can often be a little "loose"... kind of like trying to pin Jello to the wall.
In order for the article to say that atheism is growing, the writers found it necessary to include in their analysis the 19 percent of Americans who "spurns organized religion in favor of a nondefined skepticism about faith." I hate to disappoint the atheist crowd, but the definition of this particular group does not even come close to the atheistic claim that "there is no God."
As a matter of fact, this statistical phenomenon of disgruntled churchgoers is something the Christian community has known in America for a long time; the church is losing a generation to societal confusion. This generation is not necessarily lost to atheism - but rather to cynicism and disappointment. They are groping around in the darkness - many of them looking for a church that is real and Spirit-filled.  All too often and sadly, the disgruntled group finds communities of believers (churches) with internal strife, misdirected focus, and a biblically lost direction. The disgruntled ones are also now finding entire denominations that used to be the bulwark of the Christian faith turning to the political correctness of the times rather than standing on the clear Word of God.
The article continues, “This group, sometimes collectively labeled the ‘Nones,’ is growing faster than any religious faith in the U.S. About two thirds of Nones say they are former believers; 24 percent are lapsed Catholics and 29 percent once identified with other Christian denominations. David Silverman, president of American Atheists, claims these Nones as members of his tribe. ‘If you don't have a belief in God, you're an atheist,’ he said. ‘It doesn't matter what you call yourself.’”
And so there you have it. The "disgruntled ones" are collectively swept up into the "atheist" category because the President of American Atheists declares them to be members of "his tribe." And, he proclaims, it “doesn’t matter what you call yourself.” Apparently, it only matters what the atheists “call you.” This truly appears to be more "wishful thinking" than statistical and practical reality.

Now we come to the standing question of the article - "WHY?" The two statements posed before this ominous question were:

1. "The number of disbelievers is growing" - but I have just shown how numbers and definitions are easily manipulated and the number of atheists, in reality, is probably at about the same statistical level that it has been - for decades.

2. "Yet, atheists are still the least trusted minority. Why?"  Could it be partly because of the very thing that I have pointed out here - atheists are notorious for shifting definitions, facts, statistics, and people groups in order to assimilate them into their statistical "tribe"? I would think this could be at least one very important reason why the atheist community is a largely "distrusted" community.

Of course, this is not the reason given by the writer of the article for why atheism is "on the rise" in America. No, their reason is much more "atheistic" in rationale. Observe the next statement, "Why are so many people leaving religion? It's primarily a backlash against the religious Right, say political scientists Robert Putnam and David Campbell. In their book, American Grace, they argue that the religious Right's politicization of faith in the 1990s turned younger, socially liberal Christians away from churches, even as conservatives became more zealous. The dropouts were turned off by churches' Old Testament condemnation of homosexuals, premarital sex, contraception, and abortion."
How convenient. People are leaving religion because of a backlash against the religious Right. The dropouts were turned off by Old Testament condemnations of such things as homosexuality, premarital sex and abortion? What? First of all - the entirety of God's Word condemns such things, from Genesis to Revelation - not just the Old Testament. Secondly, these condemnations are such a foundational part of the understanding of God's heart as expressed in the Bible, that to say "socially liberal Christians" are turning away from the church because of these things is like saying a bevy of atheists have recently turned from atheism because they are shocked that atheists don't actually believe in God! While it may be true that some in this category of "disgruntled" ones are now claiming to be atheists, it could just as easily be argued that many of them were not real "believers" in the first place.

To further illustrate the absurdity of much of the "atheist movement," along with our developing understanding of why they may be so "distrusted," let me comment on the closing statement of the atheist's article.
The last several sentences of the article read as follows, "In attempting to secure the same rights and support enjoyed by religious soldiers, the association (The Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers) lobbies against the idea that "there are no atheists in foxholes," and wants "atheist chaplains" made available for the ranks of the armed nonbelievers. Jason Torpy, the association's president, says that nonbelievers outnumber every religious group in the military except Christians, yet receive no ethical and family counseling geared to their own non-beliefs. "These are things that chaplains do for everybody," he said, "except us."
So now, the "nonbelievers" need a chaplain to help them with their "nonbeliefs" while they are in the foxholes of war. Why, pray-tell? Is there a "danger" of the atheist in a foxhole becoming a believer unless an atheist "chaplain" is there to help them hang on to their "unbelief?" And if the definition of "Atheism" is a non-belief in God - why do the atheists need the same "rights" as the "religious soldiers" who DO believe in God? And they wonder why much of America just doesn't trust the atheist community.

Part 4
Chapter 3
The Doctrines of Atheism
}{

In the many years I have been interacting with the atheist community I have discerned five main doctrines in the religion of atheism. There are many sub-doctrines contained within each doctrine and I’m sure many of you could add to this list but these are the glaring doctrines that have shown themselves over and over again over the years. Here they are the way I see them. The first doctrine may seem a little odd but it is called "illustrating the obvious with the absurd". It came out of a discussion I was having about a movie where a group of young men crashed their plane on a mountain and survived by eating their dead comrades. It does seem a little morbid to bring it up but did you know that cannibalism is the default position of the ungodly?

Psalms 53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

Jeremiah prophesied concerning the ungodly worshipers of Baal in chapter nineteen. One of the things he said about them was:

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them - Jeremiah 19:9

Remember that this type of thing is decided in the mind. It becomes who you are in your thinking first. If you believe you are simply just an animal with no transcendental value then of course if it ever comes down to it you would do as the Bible says you would. You would eat another person. You are a cannibal.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

I’ve been debating atheists for many years and I’ve kept really good records of their comments which reveal the tenets of their religion. I consider the people who come to my website, blogs, and Youtube channel to argue in favor of the religion to be apologists; the brightest bulbs in the room if you will. And most of them really are quite intelligent. By inviting comments and interacting with them they have done a great job of exposing the overwhelmingly agreed upon faith structure of the religion. We start the series with the most flamingly obvious doctrine… Cannibalism. Now this doctrine was revealed to me in the process of researching my fourth book, “The Great Debate“. I touched on it briefly in the book but I wasn’t sure if it was random, isolated cases of disgusting social dysfunction or across the board commonality among all atheists. Over the intervening months I have discovered, or rather it was revealed to me by the atheists, that cannibalism has been accepted into mainstream atheism as a matter of fact. Allow me to read just a couple of the comments left by atheists concerning the act of eating people…

“As for eating my friend, if he was dead then yes I would. He is an animal, just like I am and just like you are. I would expect him to do the same if placed in that situation“. - Atheist

“And in my own mind I would like to think I would be able to eat a fellow man who was dead or had no chance to survive to keep myself alive” – Atheist

Isn’t that amazing? I wouldn’t dare reveal the identities of these people but those were actual quotes from people on my blog and Youtube channel. Here’s how dictionary.com defines cannibalism:

1. the eating of human flesh by another human being.
2. the eating of the flesh of an animal by another animal of
its own kind.
3. the ceremonial eating of human flesh or parts of the
human body for magical or religious purposes, as to acquire
the power or skill of a person recently killed.

There you go. Cannibalism. I bet you can guess where this doctrine comes from. It comes from the teaching that people are nothing more than animals. This is another doctrine of atheism that we will discuss in this series: the creation story of atheism; the sub-doctrine of evolution.

¶Have all the workers of iniquity [atheists] no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
Psalms 14:4

What would I do if I was faced with the choice of starvation or cannibalism? We see from Ps 14:4 that cannibalism is associated with the atheism mentioned in verse one of that chapter. That choice will never be a part of my life. In my existential paradigm, there is always the God option. I would pray. I would expect one of three or more or a combination of things to happen. Either God would rescue me out of the predicament or He would provide me with food to eat or probably a combination of both. A third option would be a supernatural sustaining of the body until help arrives. Let me make one thing perfectly clear. Death for the Christian is a sweet release. It is entry into the heavenly. The Bible says that to die is “gain”. For the Christian to resort to desecrating a corpse is to throw ones faith into reverse. For the atheist, however, it is a testimony to the barbaric nature of the religion and the need to expose it before it destroys society beyond repair. The reason this is important is because it is true about virtually all atheists. It is a doctrine that is predicted by the Bible. This brings us to the next doctrine; the doctrine of elitism.

We’re better than you

By allowing open comments on my blogs and Youtube channels for the last few years a common belief structure has emerged and I have been able to isolate five “doctrines” of atheism. There may be more, lesser doctrines that need more time to surface but for now this is enough. Let’s begin with how dictionary.com defines elitism.

“The belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources.”
Well, there you have it: the doctrine of elitism. Now, I don’t make this accusation without proof. I have received thousands of comments from the apologists of the religion of atheism who openly and proudly display the doctrine of elitism for the entire world to see. Non-atheists who watch the show from the sidelines are amazed at the flaming arrogance and elitist thought structure that emerges immediately in the comments sections of my articles. Here are just a few examples. We will not reveal the identity of any person leaving the comments.

“If i found a moment where the degree of stupidity was limited, I would be obliged to respond….I may however, create a video response for the amusement of myself and everyone else”. – Atheist
“How the hell do you have the nerve to question evolution when we have biological proof on top of over 300yrs of physical data collated from just about every single branch of science?” – Atheist
“Did you even attend school????” – Atheist
“Rational thought requires evidence, your beliefs do not therefore somewhere along the way (if you ever had it to begin with) you lost the power of rational thought & now clearly no longer even know what it is!” – Atheist
“I’m surprised you can even spell the word ‘intelligence’. “ – Atheist
“Ken Ham????? hahahaha are you serious???? Whose next, Kent Hovind???? haha, oh come on! How about you find me a REAL scientist who’s actually submitted work for peer view?” – Atheist
“No disrespect but i wouldn’t read any book written by a creationist as it would no doubt be full of lies.” – Atheist
“I couldn’t possibly deny the irrefutable evidence for evolution like your sort shamefully do.” – Atheist
“There’s no such thing as “creation scientists”, these men aren’t scientists, they’re shady, misleading, religious entrepreneurs” – Atheist
“Instead of pointlessly TRYING to discredit evolution, how about you give us some evidence to warrant your underdeveloped, primitive beliefs? Now that would be a novel idea hey!” – Atheist
“Writing moronic books & making retarded video’s doesn’t count as being “busy”. – Atheist
“Yes i have a son which is more than you will ever have. Just because your colossal ego can’t handle the fact that you are made of animal cells (although I’ve seriously encountered more intelligent plants) doesn’t make change a thing.” – Atheist
“If you reject Evolution by Natural Selection, then don’t go to a modern Western hospital” – Atheist
“You admit to having no scientific credentials, but you then defer to someone else (Hovind) who also has no scientific credentials (his “degrees” were from unaccredited degree mills).” – Atheist
“In any case, Hovind has no scientific education either – he got his “degrees” from an nonaccredited degree mill and “taught” at an nonaccredited private school.” – Atheist
“You can’t even separate from dirt and being, you must really be a good scientist… why don’t you shut up and go back to your little world”. - Atheist

Isn’t that amazing? I left the spelling mistakes in for effect. These comments represent ninety percent of the group-think that prevails in the religion of atheism and is indicative of the mainstream belief structure cemented within the religion. They’re smarter than everyone else. Only the indoctrination (education) they received is worthy of any serious consideration. Only their word definitions are  legitimate. And only their liberal lifestyle, no matter how destructive, is worth aspiring to. It is the existential paradigm of atheism and the doctrine of elitism provides the mental and social justification for taking God out of the paradigm and fortifying the delusion bubble that keeps reality from setting in. “We are wonderful. We are animals. It’s all about us. We are atheists”.

Atheism is Hopeless

So far we have covered the doctrines of cannibalism and elitism. Over the years atheists have gone to great lengths to hide behind the cloak of non-religion. Whenever someone like me comes on the scene, atheists come out by the hundreds to defend the “non-religion” of Atheism. I refer to those people as apologists. There’s no doubt they are highly intelligent and skilled debaters. However, resulting from their attempts has been some overwhelming evidence to support a doctrinal structure that appears to form a constitution. I have been able to isolate five “doctrines” as I call them and this third element is extremely disturbing on a psychological level. It is the doctrine of defeatism. Here’s how dictionary.com defines it.

“the attitude, policy, or conduct of a person who admits, expects, or no longer resists defeat, as because of a conviction that further struggle or effort is futile; pessimistic resignation”

There you go. Defeatism. As someone who has personally experienced the love of God in both an emotional and tangible sense, it is heart wrenching to read many of the defeatist comments posted on my various internet ministries.

For example, one gentleman who will go unnamed expressed a public lament for having to take antibiotics and painkillers because he felt he was slowing the process of evolution. Here are some other examples of the doctrine of defeatism as expressed by actual atheists.

“There is NO loving, personal deity that has a specific plan for individuals & such claims are nothing more than a desire & tenacity to carry on living & a reluctance to accept you’re not special. I could care less what name i give to ur pethatic therapy group! the fact is, it’s all about ME, life has no meaning, so stop pretending u can do better, just shut up and get on with ur day” – Atheist

“Life is merely a meaningless accident, and there is no actual meaning or purpose to any living creatures, as Meaning only applies to conscious entities, when there are no conscious beings (human) , there also is no such a thing as meaning;” – Atheist

Isn’t that amazing? These cases are not isolated bursts of insanity like, you know, that crazy uncle that embarrasses you all the time. No, this is a doctrine that is woven through the faith structure of atheism. They’ve given in to the sensually known environment and given up on the other ninety percent of their brain. They are defeated. They are atheists.

Ignorant of Their Own Doctrines

Now I know that many atheists have never heard of these doctrines but that is irrelevant. If you were to ask a room full of Calvinists what the five points of Calvinism are you would receive a room full of blank stares in return for your effort. The fourth doctrine of Atheism surfaced almost immediately. It is the doctrine of Liberalism. Let’s allow dictionary.com to define it for us.

1. the quality or state of being liberal, as in behavior or attitude.
2. a political or social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual, parliamentary systems of government, nonviolent modification of political, social, or economic institutions to assure unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor, and governmental guarantees of individual rights and Civil liberties.

There you go. Liberalism. The key word in that entire definition is the word “unrestricted”. Atheists want to live without moral or social boundaries dictated to them by a greater moral authority. In their defeated minds God doesn’t exist so his statutes are meaningless. Everything becomes subjected to circumstance. I once listened to well-known atheist apologist Dan Barker explain the set of events that would make rape a morally acceptable act. The doctrine of liberalism has led to the modern holocaust of abortion, the destruction of the traditional family, the enslavement of the entire western world due to liberal governing practices leading to unfair taxation, and the degradation of the human condition due to the removal of the restrictions that kept us intact. As Margaret Thatcher one said, “The Facts of Life are Conservative”.

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder

Liberalism removes humanity’s preservative and leaves humanity out on the table to rot. The foul stench of the decay is on full display in the comment sections of my websites which I will not be quoting here. The rotten language spewing forth from these self-proclaimed animals is evidence enough to indict them all of destroying whatever dignity the western world once possessed. There needs to be no other nod to the ones who claim the soon return of Jesus Christ than the wide spread acceptance of the doctrine of liberalism and Atheism has made it a primary element in its constitution.

We have covered the doctrines of cannibalism, elitism, defeatism, liberalism, and now naturalism. There have been thousands of comments left on my internet ministry’s articles and video teachings and over time the doctrines of Atheism have emerged and eventually fully exposed themselves as religious articles cemented within the constitution of the religion.

It’s All Natural

Naturalism is a philosophy. It is embraced by every modern atheist. Here is how dictionary.com defines naturalism in the context of our discussion.

“the view of the world that takes account only of natural elements and forces, excluding the supernatural or spiritual”

There you go: naturalism. Not only does naturalism deny the existence of God, but it also declares the non-existence of any other realm except the natural. Therefore, by embracing the philosophy of naturalism, atheists have come up with several pseudo-qualifiers which have enabled them to be embraced by society. The sub-doctrine of evolution by natural selection is perhaps chief among them. The apologists of Atheism use incredibly harsh tactics to put unbelievers in their place. They use their time in indoctrination mills (universities et al) to nurse from the breast of elitism and embrace the illusion of intellectual superiority while ingesting the talking points they will later use on people like me. Here are some examples from atheists who proudly illustrated the doctrine of naturalism.

“The difference is that one can feel and MEASURE the wind. That measurement can be repeated and verified objectively. Can your god be felt by everyone with the gift to feel? Can your god be objectively measured? Can we all agree on said measurement? Your analogy is as solid as the design of the Hindenburg.” – Atheist
“If one has seen no evidence of God, then faith doesn’t even enter into the issue. Faith is only employed to support that which is *not* perceived. Faith is only employed when you willfully reject what your five senses/brain are telling you. There is a MOUNTAIN of physical evidence to support the theory of evolution. Doesn’t mean it’s perfectly correct. But tell me- where’s the evidence for God’s existence? Never mind providing a mountain. Just give us a scrap of objective evidence.” – Atheist
“Throughout history, most Gods have eventually faltered and failed. Even the God of Abraham, conveniently placed outside the universe eventually must meet the same fate. He is a manifestation, and at times he has been a worthy one. But humanity will certainly leave him behind, as they have left all others. Is this bad? I don’t know…and not knowing is OK with me.” – Atheist
“Perhaps future generations will find that the  tendency to create/worship deities was an important part of the evolution of our species. Wouldn’t that be ironic?” – Atheist

There you go. As you can see, there is really no attempt to hide this doctrine. It is, as I have previously pointed out, a delusion bubble. It’s an existential paradigm separate from reality and is trying desperately to displace reality in spite of the inevitable outcome. As an observer of the human condition I see how people, when confronted with the notion that there is no other reality than the natural, simply shake their heads in disbelief and walk away disturbed that anyone would believe such nonsense. And yet the ranks are swelling among the atheists. Why? How is this happening? Are they succeeding at displacing reality? Hardly. These apparent victories are signs of the soon return of Jesus Christ to the earth. It is part of the “strong delusion” and “falling away” that must happen before His coming. People will mock Christianity and say things like “where is the promise of his coming”? According to Peter we shouldn’t be surprised by any of this. The Devil is playing his flute and people are dancing in his shadow like pigs to the slaughter house.

¶Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2 Peter 3:3: And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 2 Peter 3:4

2 Corinthians 4:3: But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The Religion of Atheism

Here’s a question you don’t hear every day: what do Christianity and Australia have in common? Answer:
both are existential paradoxes. What, you’re probably asking, is an existential paradox? Well, the word “existential” means “pertaining to existence”. The word “paradox” means:

1. a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or
absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth.
2. a self-contradictory and false proposition.
3. any person, thing, or situation exhibiting an apparently
contradictory nature.
4. an opinion or statement contrary to commonly accepted
opinion.

So, an existential paradox is something that exists as a duality that seems uncommon or unusual or maybe even self-contradictory. Australia is both a continent and a country. That is as unusual as it can possibly get since it is the only country that is also a continent and vice versa. Existentially, Australia is a paradox. Two separate things are true about Australia. We can talk about Australia as a country without ever mentioning it as a continent. For example we know that Australia is one of the two hundred and three countries recognized by the United Nations. We can talk about Australia’s gross domestic product, its indigenous animal population, its unique architecture, geology, etc. We can do all of this without ever mentioning its status as a continent. And then we can talk about Australia as one of seven recognized continents. We can talk about its relative small size in comparison to the other six continents. We can do all of this without ever mentioning Australia as a country. Australia is a true existential paradox. Christianity is the exact same way. On one hand we have the religion of Christianity and on the other hand we have the relationship of Christianity.

A Tale of Two Christianities

Christianity as a religion is a nasty business. It is responsible for countless horrors and atrocities around the world. For centuries people have used the teachings of the Bible to enslave countless people into dogmas while taking the Bible completely out of context. Not understanding the cross and the new covenant will bring the worst kind of legalism out of anyone. There are verses in scripture that really can be used to do great harm when applied by spiritually ignorant, power hungry demagogues. They form groups who carry around signs condemning people with a fabricated authority to say on behalf of God that He hates this or that group. The fact is that God loves the world. He loves the world so much that He gave His son as a ransom. These religious “Christian” groups make up stories about curses and use a covenant which no longer exists to justify fear mongering tactics to extract money from the people so they can live lives of luxury while others starve. They declare with pious certainty that membership in any other group but theirs will almost certainly lead to hell. If certain days are not kept holy and certain feasts are not performed religiously then not even God Himself can help you. These people who are trapped in the religious system called “Christianity” have no real relationship with God whatsoever. They don’t know Him. They know a bunch of rules and regulations cleverly disguised as Christianity but are nothing but a type of fire insurance. It’s a person’s way of having some sort of guarantee just in case there really is a hell. After all it sure would be nice to get in to heaven if there really is one. Another type of person, who is trapped in the religion of “Christianity”, or any other religion for that matter, is the gullible person who just goes along to get along. After all, that’s how we do things around here, right? I suppose most people would fall into this category. They are born into a religious family and it becomes a generational thing. As the child grows up one of three things will happen to that child. He or she will stay in the area; perhaps get a high school education and wind up working at the local factory, restaurant, or whatever. They get married and perpetuate the cycle. The second option is to get a higher education in a university or college setting which is located outside of the town they grew up in. What transpires next can, and usually does, separate them from their religion. God will either reach them and show Himself strong to that person in which case the religion is gone and a relationship begins or else that person will walk away from anything to do with God whatsoever. Either position is better than the first. To remain religious but lost is a horrible state. You don’t know God and you’re afraid to leave the religious system. I believe the atheist is better off than the religious person who doesn't know God.

Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art
neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither
cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

The other existential Christian reality is to have a relationship with God that is personal and dynamic. You actually know God. He guides you by His peaceful leading. You are intimate with Him and HE with you. Your daily decisions are made based on His guidance. You don’t make a move unless you have His consent. You do this because you have heard Him express to you and show you that He knows what is best for you. He has a plan for you and you want to walk in it. You have known His favor in this world. He has delivered on His promises to you and you keep falling forward knowing that He will catch you and place you on safe ground. You place one foot in front of the other by His direction all the while looking upward into His face. You know Him. You have a relationship with Him. You know what it means to be adopted as His child out of a dark world. You know what King David meant when he said “when my father and mother abandon me the Lord will take up my cause”. You do not have a religion with its rules and regulations. You say with Paul that all things are permissible for you. You are not bound by religious dogmas. Your heart is filled with the goodness of God that leads you away from sin and dark deeds that destroy others. The laws of God are written on your heart. You don’t just obey to obey but you obey because you love God and you know that to do anything else would break His heart like the father’s heart weeps for the disobedient child. You want nothing more than to please your dad; your heavenly father. You look at the world around you and you know that His return is very near. You read HIS testimony about the world, the Bible, and you understand it. You see how the unbelief in the world is simply fulfilled prophecy and that you are secure in Him. You experience miraculous deliverance in spite of overwhelming odds against you. You find yourself mysteriously compelled to reach out to others and express to them the urgency of the time. You don’t have a religion; you have a relationship.

A Tale of Two Atheisms

So, how does all of this pertain to atheism? Well, atheism also is a paradox. When I was an atheist I lived as a common pragmatist. That is what most atheists are. They go on with their lives not wanting to be bothered or to bother with anyone else. They live their lives as if there’s no God and they don’t want to hear any alternatives. They are the very embodiment of narcissism. Their mind is closed to anything outside their very own delusion bubble. When one lifestyle ceases to amuse they move on to another. After all, when you die you rot so the focus is continuously on self gratification. These atheists are seldom successful people although there are few exceptions. They usually earn enough money to get the next high or fix. When the money is drained they get motivated to make more. I burned through one and a half million dollars by the time I was twenty seven. I was a non-religious atheist. I lived as though there was no God and I didn't care about the overwhelming evidence that supported His existence. As far as I was concerned if there was a God He surely didn't care about me and I didn’t care about finding out whether or not He was even real. I wasn't agnostic about it either. If there was any evidence I wasn't interested. When confronted by Christians who were concerned about my soul I would always say there was no God. I didn't say I didn’t believe in God. I would make a positive declaration that God did not exist. I didn't realize that by doing so I was placing the burden of proof on myself which is a logical fallacy since to prove the non-existence of something is to prove a negative and that, ladies and gentlemen, is impossible. That is why I say that agnosticism is the only truly honest position. Otherwise in order to hold on to your atheism and remain honest it must become a religion once confronted with the evidence for His existence or else turn to the proper designation of agnostic. Once atheism is attempted to be defended by its adherent it immediately becomes a religion by default. There are many well known religious atheists out there including Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Pat Condell, etc. They have built entire careers on defending atheism as a viable worldview. It is a religion to them by this definition.

 6. Something one believes in and follows devotedly; a pointor matter of ethics or conscience: to make a religion of
fighting prejudice.

This definition from dictionary.com covers a great number of subjects doesn't it? When you have people who devote their lives to defending a cause, position or worldview like Atheism, it becomes a religion. Nonreligious Christianity is a life that is lived in a relationship with a transcendental being. That’s all. The relationship manifests certain acts and attributes which are visible to those around us. The non religious atheist likewise acts and manifests in certain ways which show off the person’s atheism; attributes like pragmatism, narcissism, etc. When the atheist gets preachy about his lack of belief in God, slanders those who do believe in God by calling them child abusers for declaring the existence of eternal punishment, have discernible doctrines associated with their beliefs, openly confront people who have a counter belief by using media and devote all of their time to defending their atheism then that has crossed the line into religion according to definition number six from the Random House Dictionary. They have places of worship (modern university campuses), discernible doctrines (we’ll get to them later), holy books (On the Origin of Species to name one), and prominent preachers who rally the devoted masses into frenzies of united non passive promotion of the cause (see Pat Condell‘s “Aggressive Atheism“). Let’s face it: when you have a live-and-let-live mentality that allows all other points of view and couldn't care less about someone else’s beliefs then you are living the life of an atheist if your belief is that God doesn't exist. You will exhibit your atheism to your friends and family and co-workers but you won’t be compelled to spread your belief to the rest of the world since by its very nature you have nothing to spread, right? Atheism is the belief in nothing. You were created by nothing in particular and you have nothing to say about God or heaven or some lake of fire that burns eternally. You just live like an animal getting all the living you can get before taking a dirt nap. However, what about the guy who writes books talking about his disdain for Christianity? What about all those videos on Youtube which plunder the thoughts of Christian videos and mock them with vitriolic rants about a flying spaghetti monster and bronzeage myths? What about the many people who seemingly do nothing but make points about their atheism as though it is something to be followed… religiously? They make statements that encourage people to throw off the shackles of belief in an invisible sky-daddy and join them in their lack. It became very obvious to me a long time ago that this was more than just a non-belief for them. They were, according to definition number six, very religious about this thing they call atheism; very religious indeed.

I’ll tell you what I think. I think these people genuinely do want the truth and they aren't really atheists. You see, I was a real atheist. I lived as a real atheist. I never gave the concept of the existence of God any thought at all. The religious atheists have actually made a religion out of the search. They are constantly challenging people like me to “show the evidence”. Now, that’s not just atheism, friend. That’s “evidencism“. “We’re all about the evidence. No, no; not that kind of evidence. The kind of evidence that WE approve of in our atheistic thinking. Give us the evidence that can be measured scientifically. No, no, not that kind of evidence. Give us evidence that can be measured scientifically and that doesn't require the existence of transcendental realities. Well then, see, you don’t have any evidence“. Do you see the logic here? Me either. This is where the prison mentality comes in. The philosophy of naturalism even governs the religion. It’s like a blind man telling you that you are wrong about the color of your own eyes. Believers interact constantly with transcendental realities all the time and they know it. Truthfully so do atheists. They just don’t know it.

Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of
men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; How Atheism Ruins Everything
19 ¶Because that which may be known of God is
manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto
them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation
of the world are clearly seen, being understood by
the things that are made, even his eternal power
and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they
glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but
became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish
heart was darkened.

fools [atheists]

In The Magic Man in the Sky, Carl Gallups has given us an exciting insight into the many unanswered questions of evolution theory and, based on biblical truths – both prophecies and promises, the possibilities of other worlds and realities denied by evolutionists. With his open and frank approach, supported by extensive research and information from learned professionals in their respective fields, Carl challenges believers and unbelievers to take a serious look at the subjects discussed in this book. Ultimately, Carl invites every reader to seriously consider the gravity and consequences of accepting or rejecting the truth presented. In this hour of all-but-universal darkness, a bright ray of hope and confidence shines forth from the truths of this book. In a time when lives are marked by a growing hunger for spiritual realities, Carl Gallups reveals the truth that real science and Holy Scripture are inseparably linked to verify that behind all creation there is an intelligent designer who created all that exists.

Author of #1 best seller exposes atheism's superstitious creation story

DNA32
Have evolutionists admitted that their beliefs are based on superstition? In a word, yes, according to Carl Gallups, author of the new “The Magic Man in the Sky.”
He cites selected paragraphs from the atheist website godisimaginary.com, an often-referenced site that states, “Where did the first cell come from? Many believers will argue that God magically created the first living cell. This, of course, is silly. The scientific principle that describes the origin of life is called abiogenesis. In the same way that there is no supernatural being involved in evolution, there is no supernatural being involved in abiogenesis. Both the creation of life and the evolution of species are completely natural processes.”
The article concludes, “There is no ‘supreme being’ in heaven who reached down to create life on Earth or human beings. Nor is that being answering prayers. There is no soul. There is no everlasting life. Science tells us all of these things with complete clarity. God is imaginary.”

America Becoming an Atheist Nation? "No Way" Says One Man

On April 13 Yahoo news reported a story titled "The rise of atheism in America".

The number of disbelievers is growing, but they remain America's least trusted minority. Why?
How many atheists are there?
It depends on your definition of the term. Only between 1.5 and 4 percent of Americans admit to so-called "hard atheism," the conviction that no higher power exists. But a much larger share of the American public (19 percent) spurns organized religion in favor of a nondefined skepticism about faith. This group, sometimes collectively labeled the "Nones," is growing faster than any religious faith in the U.S. About two thirds of Nones say they are former believers; 24 percent are lapsed Catholics and 29 percent once identified with other Christian denominations. David Silverman, president of American Atheists, claims these Nones as members of his tribe. "If you don't have a belief in God, you're an atheist," he said. "It doesn't matter what you call yourself."
A new book scheduled for release next month is poised to change all of that. "The magic Man in the Sky" is destined to refocus the direction of the collective American worldview and possibly that of the world.

What if an Ancient Book written 3000 years ago predicted dozens and dozens of specific and detailed events in the future; amazingly and seemingly impossible events; yet they all came true?

What if many of those prophecies focused on a specific person called "God's Messiah" or the "Christ" - a coming one? And what if this was the only book in the world to speak of such a coming one and to give these details in prophecy fashion?

What if the prophecies about this coming one fortold such facts as

- The place of his birth.

- The exact location of his birth.

- That he would come out of Egypt.

- That he would begin his ministry in Galilee.

- That he would preform amazing miracles.

- An exacting formula for the very day he would present himself as Messiah (Dan 7).

- That he would be rejected and beaten.

- That he would be crucified (Psalms 22, Zechariah 12).

- That the very words used to mock him were recorded (Psalms 22).

- That they would gamble for his clothing under his cross (Psalms 22).

- That he would be ressurected before full 3 days had passed (Psalms 16).

And what if ALL those and many more specific prophecies like these were fulfilled in only one person who ever lived? Out of 7 billon people alive now and billions who lived before now - only one - just one single solitary human being has EVER fulfilled all the prophecies to the letter, every exacting detail. And what if, just what if history and these amazing books in the New Testament record the fulfillment of those prophecies? And what if the calendars of the world were changed to mark the fulfillment of these amazing and statistically impossible prophecies?

But what if this amazing and ancient book went on to prophesy that a singular nation, Israel, would be brought out of another nation, Egypt, and it would be established as the nation that God would use to bring into existence his Word, his prophets, his church, his Holy Spirit, and the Gospel? And yet first this nation would go into thousands of years of exile because it would be disobedient to God but that God would eventually bring this nation back and restore its language, borders, peoples, government, glory and power? And what if, down through thousands of years of recorded human history, all of this, every single bit of it, happened. What if we see it on your television set everyday and what if only one book in all the world ever made such astonishing statements and predictions, yet they all came true anyway? And what if God declared in that book, thousands of years ago, that when we saw these things happen we would know that he was God, and only he was God, and that this was in fact - His Word.

Would these things just be a coincidence? Mathematically impossible coincidences?

Or might you believe that this ancient book was somehow supernatural, inspired, maybe even the Word of God from the Spirit of God himself? The one who moved ancient men of God to pen the words that would reveal the Glory of God to us - especially us?

What might YOU believe about these things?

If there was just one other book in the world that even came close to these amazing truths we might look at it differently, but there is not one, not even ONE that even comes close. Why is that? Because THIS is the Word of the Living God and Yahweh is God and Jeshua is his Christ.

Yet with all this evidence and more, Richard Dawkins refuses to concede. His book, "The Magic of Reality", as boldly declared by those who reviewed it, seeks to indoctrinate children of all ages into the most closed-minded delusion imaginable.

Now a small town preacher is taking on Dawkins with a powerful new book called "The Magic Man in the Sky". It is a book heralded as a definitive expose on that which most people already know. Gallups proves the existence of God in this first of his works by using rational, clearly understood language and finally closes to door to the doubt which plagues so many because of people like Richard Dawkins.

2012 Atheist Convention Overshadowed by Powerful Street Preacher

The so-called "Global Atheist Convention" was held April 13 and 14 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne Australia.

There were many well-known speakers in attendance. The official website has at the top of the web pages the "Four Horsemen" of modern atheism - Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris, and, strangely enough, Christopher Hitchens. We can safely assume they weren't expecting "Hitch" to show up - even in spirit. However they still decided to put his picture and name up as a speaker while making sure to point out that he did in fact die last year.

Remarkably there was, it seemed, far more life and lively speech-making outside the auditorium than inside. A street-preacher made an appearance with the Gospel bellowing from her lungs and she drew quite a crowd - a crowd which seemed to at least be alive. This is more than can be said for the group forced to listen to the dry delusional sophistry and pompous opining coming from inside the building. Give it a watch and notice at the beginning of her presentation how the crowd was sparse and then notice at the end how the area was packed with people. Notice the mockery and ridicule coming from the atheists; a sure signal that the "end time" isn't coming - the "end time" is now.

¶Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2 Peter 3:3

This person, who's youtube channel can be found here, is a friend of the world-famous PPSIMMONS ministry and a contributor to some of our material. Richard Dawkins, a presenter at the Atheist Convention, has been directly confronted in a book written by our very own Carl Gallups. "The Magic Man in the Sky" has been consistently in the top ten in its category on Amazon and, in nearly every way, has demolished the atheist worldview completely and rendered it indefensible. It will be released in May.

Small Town Preacher Goes Up Against Big Time Atheist

Carl Gallups, author of the book "The Magic Man in the Sky", asks the question - "What if?"
