Pastor Carl Gallups: White Privilege is a racist term. Plain and Simple

Don't get sucked up in the PC VORTEX
By Pastor Carl Gallups
"WHITE PRIVILEGE"  Is A Blatantly Racist Term

WIKI DEFINITION: White privilege (or white skin privilege) is the societal privilege that benefits people whom society identifies as white in some countries, beyond what is commonly experienced by non-white people under the same social, political, or economic circumstances.

PASTOR GALLUPS ASKS:
Isn't 'White Privilege' a racist term - at its core?
In the definition above, substitute the words "Black, Asian, Hispanic" for "White." Then see below:

Why do we not speak of  "Black Privilege" in the NFL or NBA, for example? Or would one be a "racist" for even suggesting it? In the very same social, political, and economic climate as Whites and Hispanics in the USA, Blacks dominate professional sports. Does that not give them privileges and benefits above the other races? (http://movies2.nytimes.com/books/first/e/entine-taboo.html)

Why don't we speak of Asian Privilege in the academic world - especially in the areas of math and science? Or is that racist?

Hispanics are the largest minority in the US. Does that mean they have Hispanic Privilege? Among the minority populations in the US, they certain are "privileged.'

What about MALE PRIVILEGE?  Males dominate the sports world, military world, business world - all over the globe! So, is that, in and of itself - "Male Privilege?"

What about FEMALE PRIVILEGE? There are almost a dozen areas of professions in the work force wherein women rule the day. Are they "privileged" to the point that we need to call them out - belittle them - and insist that they "step back" from those areas of employment and let the "men" have their day? (https://www.monster.com/career-advice/article/professions-women)

I'm not ignorant. I am very aware of inequality and discrimination practises in the US and around the world. It's called "sin nature." Not an excuse - just a fact. All 7 billion people on the planet are eternally infected with it (thanks to the Garden perversion and rebellion).  To lash out against, hate, or purposely mistreat and/or marginalize a person because of their skin color, ethnicity, or gender is sin.

A person who is truly born again in Jesus Christ, even though they still may battle with their sin nature (even racism that may be buried in there), will simply not mistreat (or favor) another person based upon the color of their skin or their ethnic background.

Humans are so much "more" than the color of their skin. The Word of God teaches that we "judge" each other based upon character, integrity, trustworthiness, etc. And that we are to treat all people with as much decency, respect, and honor that they will allow us to display in their lives.

Racism has no place in a born again person's life. But, that doesn't mean we can't call out blatant hypocrisy when we see it. We are to SHINE THE LIGHT and pour the SALT.  We are ambassadors for Kingdom Truth - not the lies, hypocrisies and politically correct mumbo-jumbo of the lost and decaying kingdom of darkness.

A PERFECT EXAMPLE

An example of the stupidity of labeling someone as having "White Privilege" simply because you don't agree with their viewpoint is the now celebrated CNN faux pas:

CNN legal analyst Areva Martin accuses David Webb of ‘white privilege’ before learning he’s black

https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/cnn-legal-analyst-areva-martin-accuses-david-webb-of-white-privilege-before-learning-hes-black

IT'S RACISM

The latest craze of labeling something as White Privilege is racism - plain and simple. Any one who cries "White Privilege" is then, by definition, a racist.

I was born White. I can't help that. I will not apologize for it, or grovel at the feet of an offended snowflake.

Nor, will I  use my "whiteness" to abuse, belittle, or gain unfair advantage over someone - anyone - else. Why? Because I'm trying to be politically correct?  Nope. Because I'm a born again believer in Jesus Christ.

Now, watch the MSM, and listen to the socialist leftists this week and see how many racists you can find!  ;-)
