Why it DOESN'T Matter WHAT You Believe About the Rapture

On September 11th 2001 two hijacked airplanes slammed into the Trade Towers in Manhattan NY and an hour later both of them were dropped to street level. Imagine a person walking into work that morning at the tower and as he enters the building he looks up and thinks "There's no way these towers will ever fall. I am in the safest place on earth".

It really didn't matter what the person believed. The towers came down in spite of the person's beliefs about it. The future was coming for this man no matter what his doctrinal stance on the matter. Maybe he even argued with his buddies over a coffee the week before. Perhaps his friends were conveying to him the evidence for an imminent attack on the property. "No way!" he said to his friends, "that is just a bunch baloney!"

The rapture is as sound a doctrine as any other. There is just as much evidence for the rapture as there is for - say - the Trinity. And the rapture is coming - like a train moving steadily down the tracks - ever proceeding and not slowing down. There is no need to argue with people about it - no need to cause divisive bickering and fighting. It will happen - we promise.

The Bible does not need to be defended. Like a lion in a cage all we need to do is let it out - it will defend itself.
